Job DescriptionTo support our people agenda we are looking for a Senior People Business Partner to operate as the senior strategic partner to the FGFS Executive and Senior Leadership Team, providing expert people insight, employment law guidance and organisational design capability that enables the commercial strategy. Acting as Deputy to the People & Culture Director, this role provides credible, autonomous leadership of the People function and is accountable for the delivery of complex OD programmes, data-led people strategy and legally robust people solutions across a regulated financial services environment.
As part of your role you will:
- Deliver the FGFS People strategy in partnership with the People & Culture Director, providing a credible deputy function across all executive and board-level forums.
- Lead organisational design and restructure programmes with technical precision, commercial alignment and regulatory compliance.
- Provide specialist employment law advice and manage complex, high-risk ER casework to protect the business and the Frasers Group brands.
- Drive data-led people insight, owning the people metrics framework, workforce analytics and reporting that informs executive decision-making.
- Strategically partner FGFS business areas, building trusted relationships with senior leaders to proactively deliver people solutions that enable performance and growth.
- Line manage a Junior People Business Partner
• Significant experience operating at senior HRBP / People Lead level, ideally within a regulated environment.
• Strong organisational design and change management expertise.
• In-depth employment law knowledge with the ability to operate autonomously.
• Experience using people data and analytics to drive decision-making.
• Confidence and credibility working with Executive and Board stakeholders.
• Commercial mindset, linking people strategy to business performance.
• Experience of TUPE, M&A and transformation environments.
• Strong coaching and leadership capability.
