What's Exciting About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Paralegal based in London to play a key role in supporting Verifone's international legal function. The successful candidate will manage corporate entity governance activities across multiple jurisdictions, assist with commercial contract review and administration, support regulatory and compliance initiatives, and serve as a trusted resource for lawyers and business stakeholders.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong organizational skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced global environment.

Required Skills

A successful candidate will be able to:

  • Manage the day-to-day administration of Verifone's global portfolio of legal entities, with a focus on EMEA entities.
  • Coordinate annual corporate maintenance requirements, including director and officer appointments, board and shareholder approvals, statutory filings, powers of attorney, and corporate recordkeeping.
  • Liaise with corporate secretarial service providers and internal stakeholders regarding governance matters.
  • Maintain corporate records, minute books, organizational charts, and entity management databases.
  • Support legal entity formations, restructurings, mergers, liquidations, and other corporate transactions.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate routine commercial agreements under attorney supervision, including:
    • Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)
    • Vendor agreements
    • Customer forms and standard commercial contracts
    • Amendments, renewals, and statements of work
  • Support implementation and administration of contract lifecycle management processes.
  • Coordinate legal requests and inquiries from internal business partners.
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the legal function.
Required Experience and Qualifications

A successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 10 years of paralegal, corporate governance, legal operations, or related legal experience.
  • Experience supporting corporate entities across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong familiarity with corporate governance requirements and entity management practices.
  • Experience reviewing and administering NDAs and other routine commercial agreements.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Proficiency with AI tools, Microsoft Office applications, and legal technology tools.
  • Experience working in a multinational or international company with operations across Europe and other regions.
