What is Flagstone?

Flagstone is many things. An online savings platform, reinventing how individuals, businesses, and charities manage, protect, and grow their cash. A diverse group of people, bound by a collaborative spirit, and shared purpose. And lastly, a thriving, profitable business – where smart people do their best work.

Each definition shares a common thread: our unique culture. It’s our pride and joy. And our competitive advantage.

A feel for our culture:

To revolutionise the savings market, we need to be at our best. But high performance takes more than talent – it takes a culture of kindness, respect, and growth.

That’s why we’re building a diverse, inclusive community, where your voice is heard and valued. Where, with close support and room to develop, you can surpass even your own expectations. And be rewarded for it.

We may not change the world, but we can change the world of financial technology. And all it takes is a winning mix of drive, talent, and empathy. Our culture celebrates all three.
But enough about us. Let’s talk about you.

Does this sound like you?

You’re a Senior Executive with an in depth understanding of reconciliations experience who’s excited to forge a new way to save. You demonstrate a technical mindset, with a keen interest in finance.

What you’ll do:

The primary purpose of this role is to support the Team Lead in various tasks and hold key responsibilities to ensure the department's goals and objectives are met. As a Senior Transactions Executive, you will play a crucial role in executing accurate and timely reconciliation processes, in line with SLAs, KPIs, and regulatory requirements, while supporting and collaborating with key stakeholders daily.

You will be recognized as a Subject Matter Expert for Reconciliations within the broader Transactions Operations team, and your responsibilities will include motivating team members, providing support and guidance, quality checking, and offering developmental feedback.

Additionally, you will oversee all processing activities, ensuring that queries and requests are handled professionally and promptly. You will serve as a role model for your colleagues and act as the escalation point for resolving reconciliation issues.
What you’ll bring:

  • Deep understanding and experience with Nostro and Depot reconciliations
  • Proficiency with FIS Intellimatch, or equivalent
  • Knowledge of safeguarding requirements for client funds
  • Familiarity with correspondent banking platforms (HSBC/Barclays.Net)
  • Expertise in transactions functional processing

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective decision-making abilities and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Excel capabilities, with proficiency in data analysis and data visualisation
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong empathy and self-awareness
  • Ability to work well under pressure with adaptability and agile working skills
  • Experience in coaching
