Senior Network Engineer- Contract outside IR35

Expected 3-month contract 
Day rate- £600 per day outside IR35

Remote with occasional travel required across the UK 

(Internal Job Level: Specialist / Team Lead)

The Role 

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to lead the technical delivery of customer projects and act as the technical lead for network faults, escalations and major incidents. 

Working closely with Project Managers, Account Managers and fellow engineers, you will take ownership of technical quality, solution delivery and documentation, whilst providing expert support across enterprise customer environments. 

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that includes travel to customer sites across the UK and occasional planned out-of-hours work to support change windows and critical project activity. 


Requirements
  • Strong hands-on experience across some or all of the following technologies:  
  • SD-WAN: Cisco Viptela, Meraki, Fortinet 
  • LAN/WLAN: Cisco, Meraki 
  • Security: Fortinet, Cisco Firepower 
  • Excellent troubleshooting, fault-finding and diagnostic skills. 
  • Experience managing critical incidents, technical escalations and complex change requests. 
  • Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Ability to take technical ownership and provide leadership during major incidents and project delivery. 
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required.
