Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer to support the run and maintain operations of a large enterprise Microsoft 365 environment. This role focuses on operational stability, governance-aligned administration, and incident resolution across core Microsoft 365 services within a managed services model.
The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, strong operational discipline, and the ability to support complex environments in a 24x7 enterprise setting.
What You’ll Do
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including:
- Exchange Online
- SharePoint Online
- OneDrive for Business
- Microsoft Teams (chat, meetings, calling)
- Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote)
- Provide incident triage, troubleshooting, and resolution as part of a 24x7 support model.
- Monitor tenant health and respond to Microsoft 365 service alerts and outages.
- Act as a senior escalation point for complex Microsoft 365 issues.
- Manage Teams and collaboration services in alignment with governance standards (ownership, guest access, quotas).
- Administer email security and compliance via Exchange Online Protection (EOP).
- Configure and support Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and related access controls.
- Support legal and compliance activities such as Legal Hold and eDiscovery access provisioning.
- Participate in change management, service requests, audits, and operational reporting.
- Collaborate with service managers, client stakeholders, and Microsoft support teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, changes, and configurations.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of enterprise Microsoft 365 administration experience.
- Strong expertise in Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
- Experience supporting large user environments (thousands of users).
- Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 security fundamentals (EOP, MFA).
- Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change).
- Experience working in a managed services or outsourcing environment.
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work calmly and effectively during high-impact incidents.
Nice to Have
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS‑102, MD-102, MS-700 )
- Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, public sector, finance)
- Power BI operational reporting experience
- Prior experience acting as a Delegated or Global Administrator
