Provide technical leadership, governance, and stakeholder engagement.

Create and maintain integrated programme and project schedules, align milestones to contracts, monitor progress, manage baselines and change control, produce reporting and dashboards, run planning workshops, and identify/manage schedule risks and dependencies to improve delivery confidence.

Lead governance and continuous improvement of engineering lifecycle processes, ensuring alignment with regulatory, customer, and internal quality standards. Deploy, train, document, monitor KPIs and audits, support programmes with traceable, compliant practices, and act as central process governance contact.

Manage and deliver IT testing for projects (functional, performance, security, other non-functional). Define and support project test strategies, confirm testability, influence shift-left activities, act as testing SME, coordinate with consultants, suppliers, solution architects, and manage client and DXC project relationships.

Own and communicate product roadmaps for London Market insurance software on the DXC Assure Platform. Prioritize features, define business value, support SAFe planning and backlog refinement, and collaborate with engineering, architecture, delivery, commercial, and customer stakeholders. The role gathers market feedback, supports product demonstrations and commercial activity, monitors insurance technology developments, and ensures software initiatives deliver customer and business value.

Provide and maintain the Project Support Environment for the AMPA programme: system administration, user access, backups, monitoring, patching, licencing support, helpdesk, and environment performance/availability, following AMPA QMS processes. Weekend patching and occasional on-call duties required.

Lead security design reviews and assurance for defence and aerospace IT programmes. Assess architectures against MOD standards, identify risks, recommend and validate controls, support certification/accreditation, produce assessment reports, and collaborate with joint design teams and stakeholders to ensure compliance with MOD, export control and security policies.

Support and implement security policies and compliance initiatives onsite. Monitor and escalate security events, assist audits and incident response, collaborate across teams to improve security posture, and help deliver security awareness training.

Design and implement defence-grade security architectures and zero-trust models across network, application, data and endpoint layers. Lead risk assessments, SOC/SIEM, incident response, cloud security (hybrid/multi-cloud), compliance (MOD, ISMS, ISO27001, NIST), and technical security teams to deliver secure integrated solutions for defence and aerospace environments.

Lead business development for DXC's insurance portfolio: originate and qualify pipeline, engage senior stakeholders, shape and close complex, high-value technology deals, collaborate with solution and delivery teams, and position AI-enabled and platform solutions to drive client transformation and expansion.

Lead and verify operational readiness for new or changed IT services. Run Operational Readiness Reviews, define OAT criteria, coordinate transitions, ensure documentation, knowledge transfer, support tooling, monitoring and recovery are in place, manage risks, report readiness to leadership, and drive continuous improvement aligned with ITIL practices.

Lead advanced threat investigations, drive proactive threat hunting, develop and engineer SIEM/Elastic detection content, produce actionable threat intelligence, mentor junior analysts, coordinate incident response and present findings to stakeholders while supporting an on-call rota and occasional customer travel.

Lead business development for Home Office and Central Government: build senior relationships, identify and qualify complex opportunities, drive sales lifecycle to contract, collaborate with solution and delivery teams, shape bids and negotiate commercial agreements, and grow accounts within public sector technology services.

Lead pre-sales activities for DXC Insurance Software across EMEA: qualify opportunities, craft RFI/RFP responses, run demos, workshops and POCs, collaborate with product, marketing and delivery teams, maintain demo environments, and mentor junior colleagues while aligning solutions to customer strategy and commercial deal structures.

Senior advisory role to shape and lead enterprise application transformation engagements: qualify opportunities, define solution approaches, support presales, run discovery, produce transformation roadmaps, and create reusable assets to scale capability while working with sales, architecture and delivery teams.
