As the Senior Marketing Specialist, you will serve as the marketing leader for SailPoint solutions with some of the largest technology brands on the planet within our Technology Alliance partners.
This dynamic role will define the marketing strategy and lead the execution the plan with core alliance partners that underpins the go-to-market strategies, including but not limited to creation of joint value propositions, content strategies, awareness, events, and demand generation initiatives that accelerate the growth of SailPoint globally. A deep understanding of both companies' product positioning and messaging, target markets, and go-to-market strategies is critical. You will also support the Technology Alliance Program (TAP) ensuring the broader ecosystem is represented in SailPoint initiatives and support go-to-market strategy for these alliances at the program level.
To be successful in this role you must possess strong demand generation, product marketing expertise with strategic partners, be action-oriented, and have experience in driving co-marketing initiatives with technology partners, ideally with a track record of defining and co-marketing platform-based SaaS solutions. A strong relationship builder who can cultivate a strong culture, with an understanding of the partner ecosystem, enterprise demand generation, and strong cross-functional management of marketers are crucial skills for this role. Thrive in an innovative environment by leveraging AI tool to streamline execution of content and conduct research, complemented with a data-driven mindset to optimize impact. Key SailPoint stakeholder management and teaming outside of marketing include Business Development, Product, and Partner Sales is imperative to the success of this role.

Moving and thinking rapidly with an attention to detail and a sharp eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate value propositions into customer and prospect benefits is crucial.
The position reports to the Senior Director of Global Partner Marketing, within the Performance Marketing team and is available as a remote position for the right candidate in the United States.
Responsibilities:
Develop the joint global marketing strategies with a few Strategic Technology Alliances that underpin the go-to-market strategy for each alliance
Craft compelling value-propositions, messaging and positioning that addresses a buyer’s needs and invokes the desire to engage and adopt joint solutions built on the SailPoint platform
Own the strategy and creation of joint alliance market-facing and internal enablement content that manifest the differentiation of SailPoint in the market. Leverage traditional channel and system integrator partnerships for tri-party channels to market
Develop joint marketing campaigns (content, thought leadership, demand activations) with each Strategic Alliance, that targets key industries and markets, with our joint solution, that results in sales team, opportunity identification, and pipeline for the partnerships
Develop scalable marketing initiatives collaborating with SailPoint Field Marketing, Product Marketing, Events, Campaigns, PR, and AR to drive awareness and demand for SailPoint
Act as an evangelist to market influencers, industry analysts, prospects, and customers at tradeshows, industry events, and conferences
Requirements:
5+ years of experience on high-performing marketing teams, working Strategic Alliance Partners and optimization of vendor marketplaces
Product Marketing experience and the ability to establish the unique positioning and content of our joint solutions with our strategic alliances
Ability to establish partnership Marketing Strategy, encompassing value proposition creation, communications, use case identification, targeting, and content that drive integrated joint demand generation globally.
Self-starter who is experienced in successfully taking a project from concept to execution, with a bias for action against multiple deadlines.
AI-savvy, ability to scale, automate, and multi-task a variety of critical priorities and stakeholders across several strategic partners.
Experience influencing and working across cross-functional teams, managing peer-to-peer relationships with strategic partners.
Strong project/program management skills, with proven record of managing end-to-end development of strategic campaigns and initiatives.
Comfortable within a global scope, understanding local nuances, while driving strategic priorities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills.
Enterprise security software/SaaS experience and Marketplace experience.
Education:
MBA or equivalent preferred; BA/BS required.
Travel:
This position requires approximately 10% travel.

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD):
$85,800 - $144,550.00Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee’s home location.
