About us

Locals.org is a social platform that provides creators with tools for building, engaging, managing, scaling and monetising their communities.

About the role

Mission:

Drive sustainable growth by acquiring paid users, primarily creators, and growing their communities through strategic marketing initiatives. Own and optimise web-based acquisition funnels, paid media, influencer partnerships, and social campaigns to build a scalable, efficient user growth engine.

Desired outcomes:

  1. Drive Creator Acquisition: Organise and lead performance-driven user acquisition campaigns to bring in 3,000 paid creators by December 2025, focusing on scalable, efficient paid channels.

  2. Launch Influencer Growth Engine: Develop and execute a repeatable TikTok Ambassador Playbook, resulting in 10 million+ impressions and high engagement from creator communities.

  3. Establish Creative Production Pipeline: Set up and run a continuous creative production process from ideation to launch, delivering fresh ad assets weekly to support growth campaigns across channels.

About You

You are a growth-driven marketing strategist with a proven track record of acquiring users at scale, especially within creator ecosystems. You combine creativity with performance thinking and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where priorities can shift quickly.

Core Competencies

  1. Strategic Planning

You design and execute high-impact marketing strategies aligned with Locals.org’s mission and ambitious growth goals.

  2. Paid Media Expertise

You’re confident managing and optimising paid campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and TikTok, always aiming for maximum ROI and scale.

  3. Creative Production Management

You lead the full creative lifecycle - from briefing to testing to scaling, ensuring strong storytelling, brand consistency, and performance.

  4. Web Funnel Optimisation

You continuously improve web-based funnels to convert interest into action, using both qualitative insights and data-driven experimentation.

  5. Influencer Marketing

You know how to identify, onboard, and activate influencers and ambassadors to create authentic, high-impact campaigns.

  6. Analytical Thinking

You’re skilled at identifying valuable audience segments, evaluating campaign performance, and adjusting strategy based on insights.

  7. Cross-Functional Collaboration

You work seamlessly across product, growth, design, and sales—bringing others along and making sure marketing efforts are deeply integrated.

  8. Fluent English
