Vacancy: Senior Marketing Executive

Location: Hybrid (Minimum of 2 days (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) at Bupa Place - M50 3SP; with occasional visit to other Bupa sites)     

Permanent / Contract: Permanent
Salary: Competitive, plus Bupa Benefits

Hours: Full time / 37.50 Hours per week.

The role

To provide direct support to the Consumer Marketing Manager; delivering marketing activity to maximise revenue and customer profitability through existing and new Bupa Clinics, products and services, with a strong focus on growth and consumer acquisition.

You’ll help us make health happen by

  • Develop effective working relationships with stakeholders of all levels including Product, Brand, Digital, PR, Operations, Data, Commercial Finance, to help drive the marketing agenda and ensure the marketing plan and spend is executed to maximum efficiency.
  • Work closely with the Consumer Marketing Manager to develop the yearly marketing plans to promote the product portfolio and drive profitable growth.
  • Monitor, analyse and optimise KPI’s for campaign activity on a weekly basis, providing regular reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Liaise with our media agency, ensuring that responses to brief fulfil the Clinics’ business objectives and allow room for test and learn and innovation to gain the best ROI.
  • Work closely with clinics marketing team across Retail, Strategic Propositions and B2B to maximise efficiencies of campaigns, processes and resource.
  • Coordinate internal and external creative agencies.
  • Coordinate and lead on all product launch activity and initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with the Central Brand Team to ensure that Clinics’ creative and messaging ladders up to the overall brand platform and push for wider Clinics awareness through Brand-led activity.
  • Collaborate closely with PR to amplify planned marketing campaigns through ‘earned’ media, helping to drive awareness of Bupa Clinics products and ‘Pay as You Go’.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role

  • Educated to degree level, or equivalent, with commercial marketing experience
  • An understanding of customer touch points across the whole marketing mix
  • Excellent planning and organisational abilities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with a positive persuasive manner, capable of influencing others
  • Budget management experience, as well as good analytical and numerical skills required to be able to make commercial decisions to positively impact the bottom line.
  • An understanding of target audiences and how to interpret this into how they perceive Bupa, its competitors etc.
  • To have the customer at the heart of everything we do and to be acutely aware of the customer journey and what we can do to enhance the journey
  • An ability to build and manage relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Implementation experience in the latest tools, methods and approaches that are driving cross-channel acquisition and retention
  • Ability to work with relevant analytics and demonstrated experience in the use of measurement and tracking tools within all marketing communications channels, and incorporating results of these tools into marketing campaigns
