Senior Marketing Executive

Bupa Place, Salford Quays

Hybrid – Up to 3 Days WFH

Up to £33,000 Depending on Experience + Fantastic Benefits

Full time, 37.5 Hours
Fixed Term – 10-12 Months

The role

The successful candidate will put the customer at the heart of their thinking – and aspire to create customer journeys that bring to life the Bupa brand to drive member acquisition and engagement.
 

This is a key role, promoting the Bupa UK PMI products and services so that our customers
experience a fully integrated proposition both on and offline. This role focuses particularly on our non-converter audience, optimising conversion in warm leads.

The Senior Marketing Executive will assist the Senior Acquisition Marketing Manager on key
decisions in adapting and reviewing all lead to conversion activities so that we meet our business targets (leads and sales).

They will also be expected to be proactive and lead assigned projects to completion as well as report on performance and recommend optimisations.

They will lead and run acquisition optimisation projects that meet agreed commercial objectives and delivery deadlines to drive results. They will have excellent interpersonal skills, be a creative problem solver and be passionate about delivering the very best communications to our customers.

You’ll help us make health happen by

  • To support the Senior Acquisition Marketing Manager in delivering activity to achieve the agreed PMI acquisition targets across all above the line and below the line channels and to deliver the UKI Strategy
  • Understand the full acquisition journey, and manage the conversion pathway cross- channel with a strong emphasis on optimisation of email campaigns
  • Optimisation of non-converter, group scheme leaver, and lapsed journeys
  • Help prove the impact of the activity, constantly reviewing key metrics and efficiency of each test, and informing future testing
  • Be results driven, to analyse and articulate performance of campaigns and make recommendations on how to optimise performance.
  • Work closely with the wider acquisition marketing team to integrate conversion campaigns
  • Build strong links with colleagues in other functional areas and understanding the relevant business processes to deliver campaigns within timescale and budgets
  • To identify process challenges within the marketing function and define solutions to meet those challenges
  • To think creatively and articulate clear and insight driven briefs to deliver the optimum creative solutions to a business challenge.
  • Work with other members of the Marketing Team to ensure that all direct marketing communications adhere to copy clearance, legal, product, compliance and brand guidelines

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role

  • Educated to degree level, or equivalent, with commercial experience.
  • Previous marketing experience is desirable.
  • Good planning and organisational abilities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Solid analytical and numeric skills.
  • A good sense of business acumen and a natural creative flair is required to interpret customer needs and help turn these into solutions.
  • The job holder would be expected to help the Direct Marketing Manager in the decision-making process by gathering all the relevant data and providing options for the manager’s consideration.
  • The job holder would be expected to operate in a teamwork context.
