Senior Manager Revenue Management Operations, EMEA- (3 Year FTC)- UK or Germany
POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Manager, Revenue Management Operations, works within the EMEA Revenue Management Operations (RM Ops) team to support and manage execution of global and continent initiatives, programs, and promotions. This role will support the execution of key Revenue Management operational priorities including discipline training, system audits, rollouts and adoption, communications, recognition, and overall project management. The Senior Manager supports the Field Revenue Strategy Team and the Senior Director Commercial Services in all revenue management operational aspects.
SCOPE
The Senior Manager, Revenue Management Operations provides support within the operational areas of Revenue Management for EMEA.
- Location requirements: The location of this position is flexible in either Germany or the UK
- Language Requirements: High proficiency (speaking, reading and writing) in English is required.
- Travel Requirements: Business travel is estimated at 10-20%.
EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS
- Supports the Revenue Management discipline including hotel/market associates, Commercial Services and Field Revenue Team through executing tasks associated with training, auditing, research, systems and processes.
- Supports and manages the participation and pull-through of global, continent, regional and market promotions. Ensures that promotions are correctly loaded, communicated, and adhered to.
- Manages the participation and pull-through for eChannels.
- Manages and supports the pull-through and participation from the Revenue Management side for the Dynamic wholesaler and OTA strategy for hotels.
- Supports RM Ops project management work in implementing and sustaining key Revenue Management initiatives (e.g. System initiatives, Special Corporate pricing, Business Planning, SFAWeb/GPO implementation, cross discipline projects (e.g. DTT, etc.)
- Conducts frequent system audits in a scalable way to ensure correct rate set up and overall system set up and ensures brand standards are implemented and complied with all revenue management aspects.
- Supports the delivery and sustainment of critical programs and business processes to support hotel revenue teams’ delivery of core services.
- Supports the planning and manages support for pilots that test new revenue generating platforms.
- Conducts Revenue Management systems, tools and process training, webinars and office hours for EMEA hotels based on hotel needs and determined by the RM Ops Team.
- Supports and manages special projects, including ad hoc requests for information, support and recommendations relative to Revenue Management initiatives.
- Maintains expertise across all relevant Revenue Management systems, tools and processes.
- Maintains understanding of the areas of Sales and Digital as they relate to Revenue Management practices.
- Utilizes Marriott’s revenue management systems and tools to evaluate issues with inventory and pricing decisions and execution.
- Supports the communications efforts for Revenue Management ensuring appropriate, timely, and effective communications are on-going.
- Champions excellence in business ethics and integrity, social responsibility, cross-cultural effectiveness, and associate engagement.
- Performs other duties as appropriate to the business.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Experience & Education
- Previous Marriott revenue management experience (3+years)
- College Degree preferred (Hospitality) or equivalent experience.

- Possesses excellent knowledge of Marriott’s systems (MARSHA, One Yield, High Performance Pricing, etc. and property management systems) and how they relate to one another
- Possesses excellent knowledge of Marriott’s distribution channels (OTA, wholesaler, etc), in relation to Marriott’s system connectivity
- Has excellent knowledge of revenue management concepts/principles, tactics, tools and processes
- Has strong analytical skills and the ability to make recommendations based on analysis
- Possesses strong deductive reasoning
- Possesses attention to detail and follows through to conclusion
