About Us

Legora is redefining how legal work gets done. Not built for lawyers, built with them. We work alongside the world’s best legal teams, who expect excellence, precision, and speed, and we hold ourselves to the same bar.
Our AI-native workspace lets legal professionals move faster, think more clearly, and operate with sharper precision. By analysing thousands of documents in minutes and powering end-to-end workflows, we cut through complexity, teams can focus on what matters: judgment, strategy, and outcomes.
2,100+ customers across 80+ countries trust us, including Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin, Linklaters, White & Case, Dentons, and Barclays. We’ve scaled to $200M+ in ARR, with teams across Europe, North America and APAC, and continue to expand through acquisitions including Qura, Walter AI, Graceview, Cadastral, and Wexler.
We partner with world-class performers: including Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees, Ludvig Åberg (and his caddie), and campaigns featuring Jude Law.
Joining Legora means three things.

  • We lean in: ownership over titles, outcomes over intentions.

  • We fight for excellence: high standards, direct, ego-free feedback.

  • We grow together: as a team and with our customers.

Mission before ego. Everyone contributes. No one coasts.

If you’re driven by impact, pace, and raising the bar. This is the place.

The role
You will establish Legora's first local People Advisory layer, building the team and its capability from the ground up. Reporting to the Director of People Operations, you will define market coverage, lead hiring and onboarding, and develop a distributed team of People Advisors. Your team will provide practical local advice, handle casework and build managers' confidence in handling people matters.

You will establish an AI-first way of working across Advisory: simplifying processes, turning local knowledge into reusable guidance, and using AI to improve preparation, documentation and access to advice.

You will partner with Employee Relations & Compliance on jurisdictional standards, certification and sensitive casework; People Business Partners on local business needs; and People Operations on service delivery. With People Tech & Data, you will turn requirements into reliable tools and workflows for employees and managers.

What you'll own

  • Team build and capability. Establish the Advisory team from the ground up. Coach Advisors towards independent delivery, setting clear expectations for service and judgement.

  • Local advisory delivery. Build a trusted, visible People presence in each market, with Advisors who understand local business needs and build strong relationships with employees and managers.

  • Casework quality and escalation. Oversee probation, performance and absence cases. Ensure clear records and immediate escalation to Employee Relations & Compliance when matters become formal, contested or legally sensitive.

  • Manager enablement. Equip Advisors to coach managers through people matters. Turn recurring questions into practical guidance and AI-supported resources, equipping managers to take ownership of their decisions.

  • Local policy and process. Close gaps in local policies, playbooks and processes with the relevant owners. Keep guidance current and usable, securing Employee Relations & Compliance approval where required.

  • Jurisdictional readiness. Partner with Employee Relations & Compliance on Advisor certification, training and calibration, addressing gaps in capability and casework quality early.

  • Partnership with People Operations. Give Specialists clear local guidance and escalation routes. Partner on self-service content and workflows so routine requests resolve quickly and judgement-based matters reach Advisors.

  • Local delivery. Coordinate Advisor support for people programs, organisational changes and new markets with People Business Partners, People Programs and Market Expansion.

  • Performance and insights. Use case reviews, service data and feedback to improve quality, response times and manager experience. Share emerging risks and measure the impact of AI and process improvements.

What you'll bring

  • 7+ years in HR generalist, People Advisory or operational HR roles, including leading a team across markets in a growing international company.

  • Strong experience of coaching and advising managers, challenging constructively and overseeing probation, performance and absence cases, with clear judgement on when specialist support is needed.

  • Knowledge of employment practices across multiple jurisdictions, and the ability to work effectively with local experts.

  • A track record of building local HR capability and closing policy and process gaps with practical, usable guidance.

  • Practical experience applying AI to advisory work, knowledge management or case administration, with the ability to test outputs, drive adoption and demonstrate improvements.

  • Comfort working in a tiered People model, with clear boundaries between operations, local advisory, People Business Partners and specialist teams.

  • A hands-on leadership style, strong stakeholder relationships and a high bar for documentation, confidentiality and the quality of advice.

  • Fluency in English, which is our working language.

Why this role

People Advisory brings local expertise closer to the employees and managers who need it, helping the business move fast with confidence. You will build that capability from the ground up: hiring and developing trusted Advisors across our markets, combining local judgement with consistent standards, and using AI to make expertise easier to access. It’s an opportunity to shape a new team at one of the most exciting companies in tech and set the standard for how local people support scales globally.
