About the Role

Block Renovation is seeking a Senior Manager of Partnerships to build and manage partnerships that drive homeowner demand, revenue, and brand credibility.

This role will begin as a temp-to-perm engagement (4–6 months, minimum 30 hours per week) focused on building a partnerships pipeline, closing initial deals, and launching pilot collaborations. If successful, the role will convert into a full-time position responsible for owning and growing Block’s partnerships channel.

This role will own the full lifecycle of partnerships—from identifying opportunities and developing pipeline to negotiating deals and launching successful collaborations. The focus is on partnerships that deliver measurable business impact while strengthening Block’s presence across the home and real estate ecosystem.

This is a quota-carrying, commercially accountable role responsible for developing partnerships that:

  • Generate measurable revenue or qualified demand
  • Strengthen trust, credibility, and brand awareness

  • Revenue-generating partnerships
  • Brand and co-marketing collaborations
What You’ll DoOwn the End-to-End Partnerships Pipeline

Identify, prospect, and develop relationships with potential partners across real estate, home services, financing, and adjacent categories.

Manage the full partnership lifecycle, including:

  • Pipeline development and outreach
  • Pitching
  • Opportunity evaluation and deal structuring
  • Negotiation and contract execution
  • Launch and partner enablement

The focus is on building partnerships that produce tangible business outcomes, including revenue, qualified leads, or brand reach.

Close Revenue & Distribution Partnerships

Develop and close partnerships that drive homeowner acquisition and demand.

Responsibilities include:

  • Structuring referral, rev-share, or performance-based partnerships
  • Negotiating commercial terms that align incentives and protect margins
  • Working cross-functionally to ensure successful partner launches
  • Monitoring performance and identifying opportunities to expand successful partnerships
Launch and Enable Successful Partnerships

Work closely with internal teams to ensure partnerships translate into growth.

This includes:

  • Coordinating internal handoffs across marketing, sales, and operations
  • Enabling partners with the tools and messaging needed to drive demand
  • Supporting co-marketing initiatives and joint campaigns
Track Performance and Identify Opportunities to Scale

Monitor partnership performance and identify opportunities to expand high-performing relationships.

Responsibilities include:

  • Tracking pipeline, revenue contribution, and partner performance
  • Identifying opportunities to grow or deepen successful partnerships
  • Sharing insights and learnings with internal stakeholders
What Success Looks Like (First 6 Months)
  • A strong pipeline of qualified partnership opportunities
  • 1-2 scaled pilot partnerships (revenue and/or brand impact) and 2-4 pilots
  • Measurable contribution to pipeline, revenue, or brand lift 
Who You AreExperienced Partnerships Operator
  • 6–10+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or strategic sales
  • Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle partnerships or business development, from sourcing and pipeline development to negotiation and launch
  • Strong track record of exceeding revenue targets
Relationship Builder
  • Skilled at developing relationships with external partners and navigating complex stakeholder environments
  • Comfortable prospecting and building new relationships from scratch
Commercially Minded
  • Understands how to structure partnerships that create value for both sides
  • Able to evaluate opportunities through both revenue and brand impact lenses
Cross-Functional Collaborator
  • Comfortable working across marketing, product, sales, and operations to launch successful partnerships
  • Able to coordinate internal teams to ensure partnerships execute smoothly
