About Skyscanner

Everyone loves travelling, but planning is not without its challenges ✈️. That's why we've spent 20 years building tools that turn travel-planning chaos into a breeze. Today, around 100 million travellers count on us every month to skip the whole “47 browser tabs open” phase and find flights, cars, and hotels quickly and easily 💻.

Joining Skyscanner means becoming part of a global brand that's striving to become the planet's go-to travel hack accessible for all 🌍.

Our vision? To be the world's number one travel ally. (Ambitious? 💪 Yes, but, hey, that's what got us here). Now, we’re on the lookout for a Senior Commercial Manager to help us bring that vision to even more travellers.

About the role
(Hybrid)

As our Senior Marketing Manager & AMER Geo Growth Lead, you’ll be the strategic supercharger behind how Skyscanner accelerates growth across the Americas. You’ll blend market insight with a knack for spotting opportunities others might miss — helping us grow faster (and smarter) than the market around us.

Working cross-functionally with teams across marketing, product, commercial, analytics, finance and operations, you’ll ensure our regional priorities shine through in global plans and that global initiatives land meaningfully in AMER markets. Think of yourself as the connector — the one who turns insight into action, signals into strategy, and market nuances into scalable wins.

What you’ll be doing

  • Accelerating growth in priority markets: Leading tailored strategies for high-potential AMER markets — starting with the US — and ensuring they land with impact.

  • Coordinating cross-functional magic: Aligning KPIs, measurement frameworks and campaign plans so everyone pushes in the same direction.

  • Running smart test-and-learns: Piloting regional experiments, extracting the gold dust, and translating learnings into repeatable playbooks.

  • Making the investment case: Building compelling business cases to unlock funding for high-impact opportunities.

  • Turning insights into regional scale: Identifying what works, why it works, and how to scale it across other AMER markets.

  • Championing regional performance: Monitoring trends, spotting risks, surfacing opportunities and providing narrative-rich insights that guide strategy.

  • Localising global plans: Ensuring global marketing and product initiatives feel relevant, resonant and ready to make noise in AMER markets.

About you

  • Experienced in fast-paced environments: You’ve thrived in tech or product-led businesses and aren’t fazed when the ground shifts beneath your feet.

  • Regionally fluent: You know the AMER landscape — especially the US — inside out, with instincts sharpened by real market understanding.

  • A cross-channel strategist: You’ve led multi-channel campaigns that delivered measurable growth and can prove it.

  • Analytical at heart: Data is your compass, and you use it to guide decisions, unpack performance and shape opportunity.

  • Influential and collaborative: You can bring stakeholders together, align priorities and steer conversations at all levels.

  • Strategic but hands-on: You’re as comfortable mapping the “big picture” as you are rolling up your sleeves to drive execution.

  • A clear communicator: You know how to craft compelling narratives and represent regional performance confidently in senior forums.
