About Skyscanner

Everyone loves travelling, but planning is not without its challenges ✈️. That's why we've spent 20 years building tools that turn travel-planning chaos into a breeze. Today, around 100 million travellers count on us every month to skip the whole “47 browser tabs open” phase and find flights, cars, and hotels quickly and easily 💻.

Joining Skyscanner means becoming part of a global brand that's striving to become the planet's go-to travel hack accessible for all 🌍.

Our vision? To be the world's number one travel ally. (Ambitious? 💪 Yes, but, hey, that's what got us here). Now, we’re on the lookout for a Senior Marketing Analytics Manager to help us bring that vision to even more travellers.

About the role
(Hybrid)

In this role, you’ll lead a team of high-performing analysts and partner closely with our Performance Marketing, Brand Advertising, PR & Social teams to help us grow brand awareness profitably and drive user acquisition at scale. You’ll bring rigour, curiosity and creativity to the table — using tools like geo testing, incrementality testing, causal inference, MMM and user LTV to steer channel spend allocation and supercharge performance.

You’ll also play a core role in shaping ROAS strategies at market level, ensuring our SEM bidding decisions reflect a true understanding of marginal returns. If optimising complex systems and turning data into high-impact decisions gets you fired up, you’re in the right place.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading & growing your team: Coaching analysts at different levels, offering feedback and technical mentorship, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation within our central Analytics team.

  • Being both leader & IC: Stepping in hands-on when needed — shaping analytical approaches, prioritising projects and ensuring high-quality, impactful output.

  • Partnering with senior collaborators: Acting as a trusted advisor to Marketing leaders, aligning on priorities and delivering insights that spark action (not just slides).

  • Defining meaningful metrics: Driving the evolution of key business metrics to keep them tightly linked to strategic goals.

  • Informing channel strategy: Using data-led insights to identify growth opportunities and shape how we invest across Marketing channels.

  • Creating clarity from complexity: Helping the business understand the levers behind channel performance and where the next opportunities lie.

  • Prioritising for impact: Guiding your team to focus on high-value work, balancing competing demands and communicating trade-offs transparently.

About you

  • Analytics leader: You have a proven track record in analytics — especially Marketing analytics — including an understanding of bidding strategies and performance measurement.

  • People developer: You’ve led and developed analytical talent and know how to help teams grow, stretch and thrive.

  • Technically strong: Skilled with Databricks or similar SQL-based platforms, experienced with experimentation design, and confident interpreting and translating test insights into action.

  • Metrics & reporting expert: You know how to define business metrics, build scalable reporting structures and create great dashboards in Tableau.

  • Influential collaborator: Exceptional at managing relationships and influencing senior stakeholders; experience with product and engineering is a bonus.

  • Strategic problem-solver: Able to balance long-term thinking with near-term priorities, turning ambiguity into structured, actionable pathways.

  • Clear communicator: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable working across diverse teams and fast-paced environments.
