About the Role
SharkNinja is looking for a self motivated Senior Manager, Technical Project Management (ITPM) to join the Engineering Team on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract (FTC).
The Senior Manager, ITPM is the glue across the team, aligning project direction and decision points with senior stakeholders from all business disciplines, and acts as a strategic partner to Design and Engineering leadership, with joint accountability for delivering NPD product(s) to market. This role also carries leadership responsibility for shaping process, mentoring project managers, and representing the project portfolio to executive leadership.

Provide senior leadership and direction on Engineering tasks, deliverables, and cross functional priorities.

Ensure project schedules are up to date, progressing to plan, and meeting retailer requirements (on time).
Ensure global teams and senior stakeholders have full transparency on project status and key issues and risks.
Lead and drive senior project reviews, steering committees, and cross functional governance forums.
Set up, track, and continuously improve project plans and processes across the portfolio.
Track and escalate technical issues through JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and clear ownership.
Own day to day activities related to legacy products and prepare and present updates for executive and board level reviews.
Mentor and provide guidance to project managers and junior TPMs, raising the capability of the wider team.
Identify risks and opportunities across the project portfolio and advise senior leadership on trade offs and mitigation plans.
What You'll Bring
Engineering background.
6+ years experience in project management, with demonstrated progression into senior or leadership level project management roles.
Proven experience managing a portfolio of projects and/or leading or mentoring other project managers.
A hands on, senior leadership approach, comfortable setting direction while still getting into the detail when needed.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the gravitas to influence senior stakeholders.
Experience managing project(s) through the entire lifecycle, preferably plastics or consumer products experience.
Extensive experience presenting regularly to senior stakeholders, with board of directors or executive team exposure essential.
Experience working in a fast paced, challenging environment, and leading others through ambiguity.
Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes and limits.
SolidWorks or CREO experience preferred.
Skilled Microsoft Office user, including Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to build executive ready materials.
Experience in budget management and ownership desirable.
