Why this role is important to us

At Experian, revenue recognition is critical to delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting commercial growth and maintaining governance across our global business. As part of our Group Revenue Recognition (GRR) team, you'll help shape how we interpret complex commercial arrangements. You'll also strengthen global controls and lead the future of revenue governance through data, automation, and AI.

This is a hybrid role based in our London or Nottingham office

Work that matters – What you'll do

  • Lead the development and evolution of Experian's global revenue recognition framework, providing expert IFRS 15 guidance on complex commercial arrangements and latest business models.
  • Work with senior partners across Finance, Commercial, Legal, Tax and Technology to influence important decisions and strategic programs.
  • Strengthen global revenue governance by enhancing controls, driving consistency and ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Lead transformation initiatives that improve efficiency, scalability and insight through automation, analytics and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Build capability across the finance community through technical leadership, coaching and the sharing of best practice.

Qualifications

What you'll need to bring to the role & Experian

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience.
  • Deep technical expertise in IFRS 15 (or ASC 606), gained within a multinational or listed organisation.
  • Experience leading complex accounting matters and influencing senior partners within a global matrix environment.
  • Experience delivering change, improving governance and driving operational excellence.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to balance technical requirements and commercial goals.
