Job Description

Senior Manager, Global Insights & Analytics – Commercial Operations

As a Senior Manager in the Global Insight and Analytics team, you will play a key role in shaping the development and execution of advanced analytics strategies to drive business success across international markets. Your focus will be on harnessing data to generate actionable insights that shape commercial strategy and performance, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the translation of key business questions into actionable analytic insights that inform decision-making at both strategic and operational levels.

- Collaborate with commercial functions, regional/local analysts, and Digital Technology & Engineering (DTE) teams to ensure analytics outputs support critical business goals.

- Drive the development and optimization of data and analytics structures, ensuring timely, accurate, and actionable insights are delivered across teams.

- Leverage multiple datasets (e.g., Salesforce, CRM, Hyperion, Snowflake) to ETL data and create impactful, data-driven insights that support commercial decision-making across international markets.

- Integrate market research and intelligence into analytics frameworks, working with local and international teams to ensure data-driven strategies support commercial success.

- Oversee data governance to maintain clean, reliable access to critical data, ensuring best practices are upheld.

- Build and manage relationships with technology and data vendors to optimize analytics tools and services in alignment with business needs and budgets.

- Identify and implement innovative methodologies and technologies that improve business analytics capabilities and streamline processes.

- Use commercial analytics to proactively shape business strategies, offering insights and recommendations based on performance and market trends.

- Deliver ad hoc analysis and reporting based on tactical and operational needs, ensuring alignment with broader business strategies.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience with PowerBI – ETL Data & Building reports

  • Experience working with CRM Data

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical regulatory environment

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze complex data

  • Proven track record of success with strong results and excellent customer relationship skills

  • Able to perform in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and communicate complex information clearly

  • Understanding of emerging technologies with insight into where those technologies can be integrated into business solutions

  • Proactive, thorough, well organized, and self-motivated

(ETL = Extract Transform and Load)

Education and Experience:

  • Relevant education and previous experience in life sciences organization or healthcare industry, with exposure to market access / managed care or patient services, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
