Job Title: Senior Lead, Sourcing Location: London, United Kingdom

Job Purpose: The Senior Lead, Sourcing is a pivotal new role designed to drive value creation and risk mitigation within ClarusONE's supply chain. This individual contributor role will work cross-functionally with ClarusONE teams, members, and suppliers to enhance supply stability for our members and their customers.

This role will focus on:

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, strategically important suppliers, and members to identify opportunities and mitigate risks within the supply chain.

Sourcing Initiatives: Identify near-term supplier and product opportunities, test innovative negotiation strategies, and explore new sourcing models. Leadership: Lead and implement strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing supply chain stability and value creation.

Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with supplier facing teams, members and manufacturers to gain a deep understanding of customer needs and supplier goals, integrating these insights into project execution.

Detailed Responsibilities:

• Identify supplier/product opportunities to drive value and supply resilience, aiming for value recognition within six months.

• Work with the Strategic Initiatives team to test and implement innovative negotiation strategies and new sourcing models.

• Develop category strategies and action plans for assigned product categories for example WCCF, controlled drugs, long term award programs.

• Partner with supplier facing teams and negotiate with manufacturers to achieve desired outcomes.

• Collaborate with internal teams, including analytics, to develop and communicate a risk-based decision-making framework.

• Support new sourcing model execution, including identifying ideal suppliers/items and tracking program success.

• Attend and participate in supplier business review meetings to discuss strategies and drive initiatives.

• Act as business partner within various functional areas in ClarusONE as Sourcing expert.

• Mentor and coach team members.

Requirements: Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree; preference for Finance, Supply Chain, Economics, Business or a related field.

• Minimum of Eight years’ of experience in retail, sourcing, consulting, pharmaceuticals or FMCG.

• Pharmaceutical or healthcare experience preferable.

Knowledge/Skills

• Experience with conducting financial or spend analysis.

• Experience with category, supplier and/or contract management.

• Excellent communication, listening, negotiation and influencing skills.

• Strong planning, organisation, and project management skills; able to work on multiple projects and flex within changing priorities.

• Analytical and problem-solving; ability to synthesise large data sets into actionable intelligence.

• Self-motivated, hardworking and results-oriented.

• Ability to work cross-functionally and respectfully with colleagues and suppliers from different cultures.

• Experience with developing and executing business cases is preferred.

• Experience with suppliers and categories in generic Rx and OTC pharmaceuticals and/or consumer healthcare products is preferred.

• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Alteryx and Tableau experience and advanced Excel skills is preferred.
