The Senior Associate Investments position is part of QTS’ European Investment & Real Estates team which is focused on driving core growth initiatives domestically and internationally. The successful candidate will be responsible but not limited to – strategic investment & asset management, land and operating asset acquisitions, new development opportunities and asset repositioning.
Duties & Responsibilities, other duties may be assigned:
Prepare investment materials such as investment memorandums, capital committee presentations and proposals
Create and maintain financial models to evaluate existing development projects, acquisitions, financings (joint-venture, equity initiatives, etc.), land, and capital recycling
Support projects from identification through completion, including coordination of due diligence teams, model underwriting, and financing.
Support calls and meetings with key internal and external constituents as well as partner with business leaders to ensure that they understand the key financial drivers of the various opportunities.
Effectively influence and communicate with the executive team and Blackstone partners.
Prepare and execute expense reports and check requests on a regular and timely basis
Work on strategic projects and process improvement initiatives to reduce risk and/or improve service delivery.
Maintain database and reports for key tracking measures.
Maintain and update templates for legal documents, compliance documents, and policies and procedures.
Manage and maintain files, database, including lead follow up and provide administrative support to create efficiency within the team.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree preferably with a concentration in Finance, Economics, Real Estate or Mathematics or equivalent professional experience.
Three or more years of investments experience – preferably in a collaborative financial environment (banking, investment fund, real estate, etc.)
Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel
Advanced ability to build comprehensive financial models.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience providing financial and analytical support to a capital-intensive business.
Knowledge of the data center industry

Ideal candidates will have a proven history of being extremely self-motivated, highly organised and open communicators who are eager to work in a fast-paced client focused entrepreneurial environment with limited formal structure.
Ability to organise, interpret, and draw appropriate conclusions from large volumes of data and to creatively present the information in a manner that enables non-financial managers to easily understand the information.
