About the Role 

We are seeking a Senior GSI Business Development Manager to accelerate Veeam’s growth through strategic partnerships with leading Global System Integrators (GSIs) across the UK. This high-impact role focuses on building executive-level relationships, driving joint go-to-market initiatives, and creating measurable pipeline through collaboration with GSIs and regional SIs. 

Key Stakeholders 

  • External: C-level and senior executives at GSIs across the UK 
  • Internal: Enterprise Sales, Channel, Pre-Sales, System Engineers, Marketing, and Global GSI leadership. 

Success Metrics & KPIs 

  • Quota credit generation through targeted GSIs 
  • Pipeline growth and conversion to closed deals. 
  • Activation of new GSI partnerships and joint initiatives (e.g., Veeam practice build-outs, joint RFPs). 

What Success Looks Like 

  • Influencing GSI stakeholders to prioritize Veeam in their solution portfolio. 
  • Delivering a robust joint pipeline and measurable revenue impact. 
  • Establishing Veeam as a trusted partner with GSIs through strategic programs and executive engagement. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Deliver Results: Achieve quarterly and annual business development and revenue targets through GSI-led opportunities. 
  • Strategic Partnerships: Build and deepen relationships with a select portfolio of GSIs i.e. Capgemini, Kyndryl, DXC, Accenture, TCS 
  • Executive Engagement: Cultivate executive-level relationships that influence GSI buying and solutioning decisions, translating trust and access into measurable pipeline and revenue outcomes. 
  • Pipeline Development: Identify, qualify, and progress joint opportunities with GSI/SI engagement teams and Veeam Enterprise Sales/Pre-Sales teams. 
  • Influence & Enable: Drive awareness of Veeam solutions within GSI organizations through enablement sessions, marketing collaboration, and executive engagement. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with EMEA marketing, sales, pre-sales, inside sales, and global GSI teams to execute joint initiatives. 
  • Ecosystem Leverage: Maximize sales through GSI/SI ecosystems, including resellers, CSPs, and technology alliances (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, HPE). 
  • Governance & Reporting: Maintain accurate opportunity tracking and progress updates in Salesforce. 
  • Travelfrequently(40% - 50%) across UK and occasionally internationally 

What You’ll Bring 

  • Deep understanding of GSI and SI business models, organizational structures, and executive networks. 
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development within an IT/software vendor or GSI OR partner environment. 
  • Proven track record of building strategic partnerships, developing senior executive relationships, creating pipeline, and closing complex deals. 
  • Strong commercial acumen, resilience, and ability to balance strategic vision with tactical execution.
