Job Description SummaryGE HealthCare is looking for a Senior Global Marketing Leader to join our team. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on Strategic and Upstream Marketing for our global portfolio. You will serve as a visionary architect for our market-shaping initiatives, working in lockstep with Product Leaders to define the future of our offerings. From initial commercial assessment and business case development to the end-to-end execution of global product launches, you will ensure our innovations translate into meaningful outcomes for clinicians and patients worldwide.
The successful candidate will be a master of strategic storytelling, capable of building powerful economic narratives and unbranded awareness campaigns that challenge the status quo and prepare the market for next-generation solutions.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

As the Senior Global Marketing Leader, reporting to the Senior Director, Global Marketing, you will lead the following strategic areas: 

1. Strategic & Upstream Marketing

  • Commercial Assessment: Lead the commercial assessment and business case development for new opportunities, ensuring alignment with long-term strategy. 
  • Value Proposition & TPP: Define and build robust Value Propositions and Target Product Profiles (TPP) that resonate across diverse global markets. 
  • Market Shaping: Own and execute market-shaping activities to pave the way for innovation and clinical adoption. 
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy: Design comprehensive GTM strategies, including channel strategy and multi-stakeholder messaging. 

2. Evidence & Economic Narrative

  • Pre-Launch Strategy: Develop and lead pre-launch evidence generation strategies to support clinical and economic claims. 
  • Economic Narrative: Build compelling economic narratives that demonstrate value to healthcare systems, payers, and providers. 

3. Campaign & Digital Innovation

  • Omnichannel Upstream Campaigns: Lead unbranded awareness, scientific evidence dissemination, and data-driven personalization efforts. 
  • Digital Strategy: Drive global digital engagement and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) strategies where applicable. 
  • Persona & Journey Mapping: Utilize deep insights for persona development and end-to-end customer journey mapping. 

4. Advocacy & Stakeholder Engagement

  • KOL & Advisory Boards: Build and manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and lead Global Advisory Boards. 
  • External Advocacy: Engage with Patient Advocacy Groups and Customer Advocacy Groups to ensure the "voice of the patient" is central to our strategy.
  • Executive Influence: Manage senior stakeholder engagement, providing strategic guidance on portfolio direction and market dynamics. 

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree (MBA) or equivalent marketing knowledge is highly preferred. 
  • Experience: Progressive experience in global marketing, with a heavy emphasis on upstream/strategic marketing within the healthcare, MedTech, or life sciences sectors. 
  • Launch Excellence: Proven track record of managing end-to-end global product launches and executing high-impact omnichannel campaigns. 
  • Analytical Rigor: Strong experience in commercial assessment, business case development, and leveraging data-driven insights to inform strategy. 
  • Communication: Exceptional strategic storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into a compelling narrative for senior leadership. 
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to influence in a matrixed environment and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
