In this role, you’ll ensure that all knitwear products meet Reiss’s high standards of quality, fit, and construction throughout the full product lifecycle. You’ll be responsible for driving the fit and sealing process from prototype through to bulk production, ensuring technical accuracy, consistency, and excellence in every piece. Working collaboratively with Design, Product Development, and suppliers, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and evolving the superior quality and craftsmanship that defines our brand.

Who You Are

  • A skilled Garment Technologist with strong knitwear experience and a deep understanding of garment construction and fit.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple styles and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A confident communicator with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for quality, precision, and continuous improvement.
  • Proactive in problem-solving, with a hands-on approach to ensuring product excellence.
  • Technically minded with a strong understanding of grading, fit consistency, and manufacturing processes.

What You’ll be doing

    • Collaborating with Design, Buying, and Product Development to ensure designs align with production methods and standards.
    • Reviewing and approving samples, identifying and resolving faults, and ensuring all garments meet technical specifications.
    • Conducting risk assessments, analysing test reports, and ensuring all knitwear meets wash care and Reiss quality standards.
    • Managing grading and sizing consistency across the collection, and implementing block updates seasonally.
    • Tracking and managing the critical path to ensure timely fittings, sealings, and production approvals.
    • Supporting the Technical Manager in reviewing customer returns, addressing quality issues with suppliers, and driving continuous product improvement.

    What we offer

    • Competitive salary and company bonus.
    • Up to 65% employee discount.
    • Access to exclusive sample sales.
    • Aviva DigiCare+ wellbeing services.
    • Medicash health support plan.
    • Workplace pension contributions.
    • Enhanced parental leave policies.
    • Electric Vehicle scheme via Octopus Energy.
    • Cycle to Work programme.
    • Season ticket travel loan.
    • Plus further workplace benefits.
