Role Overview

In this role, you will collaborate closely with studio developers, focusing on user acquisition (UA) advisory and support for PC titles on Steam and console-published titles. This position requires frequent travel and emphasizes collaboration to ensure studio partners have the resources and guidance needed to thrive in the competitive gaming market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead advisory on paid media campaigns, supporting studios in planning, creatives, and production of UA materials for global distribution.

  • Assess and generate advertising materials and concepts, developing creative solutions for different regions based on marketing plans.

  • Implement a data-driven approach to promote intelligent deployment and user growth.

  • Provide strong ad tracking solutions, collaborating with internal and external providers/MMPs.

  • Act as a liaison between studios and platform partners (Steam, Google, TikTok, etc.), ensuring visibility of advertising tools and resources.

  • Lead ongoing reporting of campaign performance, insights, and recommendations, providing feedback and fine-tuning approaches with UA agency partners where appropriate

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in UA deployment within the video game industry, with a track record on mainstream titles.

  • Hands-on experience with Steamworks, Steam analytics, and UTM tools, supplemented by other ad tracking tools.

  • Familiarity with mainstream paid media channels, integrating marketing resources, and quantifying results.

  • Wide network of media buying partners, with a deep understanding of their strengths and weaknesses.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and developers.

  • Excellent fluency in English.

  • Experience in a video game publisher, working on titles across various genres with multiple studios is a plus.

  • Experience in a consultation/advisory role to video game studios is a plus, but not required.
