The Team and Areas of Ownership
Studios oversees the ownership of the flagship Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) products within Akeneo that is used daily by thousands of users worldwide to manage their global product information from just one place!
Studios is the primary product suite within the wider Akeneo Product Cloud platform. It is where our customers are able to manage & enrich their product listings, as well as being able to conduct analysis and obtain actionable insights on how they can improve their success.
Studios is made up of several impact teams focused on product data modelization, data quality and stewardship, orchestration & extensibility, governance & security, while streamlining data and operations.
What you will deliver in the role...

• Build scalable & easily maintainable backend systems that support complex product enrichment workflows, draft handling, and automation.
• Implement AI-driven features to optimize and enrich product data, including automated data completion and contextual enhancement.
• Enable robust integrations with external systems via APIs and event-driven architecture to support a wide range of enterprise use cases.
• Elevate the product modeling experience to the next level, through complex structure and AI based automation
• Enhance the data orchestration layer, enabling increased configurability, automation, and support for advanced triggers and actions.
• Deliver technical solutions that are extensible, performance-oriented, and tailored for the needs of large, global customers.
• Contribute to a reliable, observable, and secure cloud infrastructure built on GCP
• Collaborate across Product and Engineering teams to shape technical direction and ensure a customer-first, use-case-driven approach.

What we will set you up for success at Akeneo

• Expertise in Full-Stack Development: You'll bring advanced-level proficiency in PHP (Symfony) and React.js with TypeScript and Redux.
• Experience with Large-Scale SaaS: You'll have proven success in creating and maintaining SaaS solutions at scale.
• Understanding of Modern Architecture: You'll possess a good grasp of DevOps principles, microservices, and cloud-based architectures at scale.
• "Built It, Own It" Mentality: You'll have experience with deployment and observability best practices, taking ownership of your work.
• Passion for Mentorship: You'll guide and mentor less experienced engineers, sharing knowledge and fostering growth.

Interview process

1. 30-45-minute screening call with a member of our Talent Acquisition team
2. 45-minute technical project walkthrough with the hiring manager
3. 90-minute behavioural interview with up to 3 members of the product line
4. 90-minute technical interview with two of our Staff Engineers.
