Job Summary
This role is to support the delivery of financial plans, financial forecasts, and the Revenue to Gross Profit FP&A processes across CDW UK & International. The role will provide timely, accurate and actionable analysis, to facilitate business partnership with Sales and Finance stakeholders. The role will also help improve the quality, consistency and automation of revenue reporting and planning.
What you will do
- Delivery of timely and accurate revenue to gross profit month-end analysis, forecast & plans.
- Delivery of accurate performance insight for Sales leadership, Finance Business Partners, UK Executive & Group stakeholders, with material risks and opportunities identified and communicated to finance and non-finance stakeholders early.
- Contribute to the delivery of departmental and consolidated monthly business review outputs, supported by effective stakeholder management & challenge.
- Improved forward visibility through enhanced deal pipeline analysis, with a drive to improve forecast accuracy & support the Head of Revenue with multi-year planning.
- Driving consistency through engagement with FBPs & executive stakeholders delivering behavioural change and report standardisation.
What we expect of you
Minimum basic requirements
- Produce timely and accurate month-end analysis (during and post-month-end) and support consolidated and departmental Monthly Business Review materials for Group, the UK Executive and Finance stakeholders.
- Produce and improve departmental revenue to gross profit analysis, standardise reports and planning tools, reducing manual intervention and duplication of effort.
- Support the Head of Revenue in the maintenance and development of the three-to-five-year strategic plan through engagement with Finance Business Partners and business leaders.
- Support competitor and market analysis for MBR and senior leadership discussions.
Preferred skills, experience, and qualities needed
- CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, spanning internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Ability to explain complex finance concepts to non-finance stakeholders, with the ability to translate data into practical insight.
- Highly motivated with a track record of advancement and development within their role.
- Meticulous planner & impeccable track record meeting deadlines.
- Continuous improvement mindset, comfortable challenging the status quo.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint.
- Experience of Power BI and automation tools is desired but not essential.
