We are now looking for a Senior Financial Planner to join our Truro office, inheriting and developing an existing client bank. This role offers a strong platform for an experienced adviser to focus on client relationships and high-quality advice delivery, with support from paraplanning and client services teams.
This role will see you inheriting a client bank of circa £60 Mil AUM across 110 households.
The role is remote, but with the expectation to attend the Truro office from time to time for collaboration. and meeting clients locally as required
Responisbilities
- Take ownership of an established client bank, providing ongoing holistic financial planning advice
- Deliver high-quality advice across pensions, investments, protection, tax planning and retirement strategies
- Maintain and strengthen long-term client relationships, identifying new advice opportunities
- Ensure excellent client outcomes, service standards and communication throughout the client journey
- Manage review cycles, ensuring clients receive proactive and timely engagement
- Generate additional revenue through client referrals and cross-selling opportunities
- Collaborate with wider Titan teams (investment management, employee benefits, etc.) to deliver integrated solutions Business Development
- Identify and act on opportunities within your existing client bank
- Support organic growth through referrals and professional introducers
- Build and maintain relationships with external professional connections (accountants, solicitors, etc.)
- Contribute to local growth plans aligned with regional and national strategy Compliance & Governance
- Provide advice in line with FCA regulations and Titan policies
- Maintain Competent Adviser Status (CAS) and ‘Fit & Proper’ requirements
- Ensure all client files and suitability reports meet compliance standards
- Stay up to date with industry developments and technical knowledge
- Operate in line with TCF principles at all times
Client Management & Advice Delivery
About you
- Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
- CAS status / current SPS holder
- Proven experience managing client relationships as a Financial Planner
- Strong ability to deliver holistic financial advice
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills Desirable
- Chartered Financial Planner status or working towards
- Experience managing or taking on an existing client bank
- Broad technical knowledge across all areas of financial planning
- Previous paraplanning experience
