Purpose of Position:

Finance function which supports operational, strategic and financial decision making at senior management level.  Providing executive EMEA leadership with meaningful financial information to facilitate effective decision making.  Cooperate with multiple stakeholders in a dynamic, fast paced environment to ensure we reach our sales, profitability and working capital goals.  Continuously look for improvement and simplification, both within and outside of Finance Team.

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

Working as part of a team on a pan-European level:

  • Development and ownership of annual budget process and timeline (revenue and expenses)
  • Overhead Budgeting & Spend analysis
  • Work with Global FP&A tools to provide dashboard reporting metrics.
  • Lead the sales reporting process and be responsible for preparing and submitting the weekly sales reports
  • Coordinate Monthly, Quarterly and Year-End Financial Close process, and analyze actual financial results in comparison to established budget with in-depth monthly variance analysis
  • Management & Variance analysis reporting to support EMEA Commercial management decision making
  • Prepare business performance deck for EMEA and Corporate HQ leadership teams explaining main variances and provide recommendations
  • Support EMEA Management Team with ad-hoc business performance analysis
  • Support EMEA Internal & External Audit requests
  • Collaborate and develop strong working relationships with other members of regional team to ensure their needs and the organization's needs are met while promoting a culture of high performance and quality customer service.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or another Business-related discipline
  • 2-3 years experience in a similar role; experience in FMCG industry would be beneficial
  • Fluent in written & spoken English; Additional European Language a plus
  • HPT / Oracle experience a plus
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills; ability to liaise with people at all levels across the business
  • Experience of dealing with both finance and non-finance colleagues at all levels
  • Commercial acumen
  • Strong analytical & Problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal
  • Strong Organizational skills & attention to details
  • Flexible and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player
  • Multicultural mindset & respectful
