We’re reinventing payments.
In less than four years, Dojo disrupted the market to become the largest and most loved acquirer in the UK. Our payments infrastructure, purpose-built for in-person commerce, is game changing.
Now, over 150,000 customers across four countries choose to transact billions with us every year.
But we’re just getting started.
Our people are the driving force behind our success. They are our greatest investment and our ultimate competitive advantage. We hire exceptional people and give them the autonomy, trust, and ownership to thrive. The results take care of themselves.
As a Senior Finance Manager, you will be a cornerstone of our Finance team, bringing technical excellence, commercial thinking, and leadership to a talented group of early-career finance professionals. This hands-on management role will see you owning the integrity of our financial reporting and compliance while developing your team's capability. We are looking for a leader who has moved from practice to industry, who has seen what good looks like, and is motivated by the opportunity to build something excellent with us.
What you will do...- Lead, coach, and inspire the finance team, setting clear expectations and actively supporting their professional growth.
- Critically review and improve financial workflows, partnering with technology teams to drive automation and help us scale safely.
- Own complex technical accounting matters, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and implementing robust financial controls.
- Lead the preparation of statutory financial statements and manage the external audit process, ensuring all regulatory filings are accurate and on time.
- Partner cross-functionally to provide clear, practical finance guidance on new product launches and draft internal policies.
- Influence senior leadership by communicating financial insights and process recommendations that drive informed decision-making.
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and advanced technical accounting skills.
- Experience in an industry finance role, ideally within a high-growth technology or fintech environment.
- A proven track record of managing and mentoring finance team members with a supportive approach to developing talent.
- Experience identifying workflow inefficiencies and managing improvement projects through to successful implementation.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex accounting concepts into plain language.
- A natural, energetic problem-solver mindset that balances a high standard of accuracy with the speed a scaling business requires.
Dojo home and away
We believe our best work happens when we collaborate in-person. These “together days” foster communication, drive innovation and spark our brightest ideas.
That's why we have an office-first culture. This means working from the office 4+ days per week.
With offices across Europe, we know a thing or two about staying dynamic. Need deep focus? Head to a quiet zone. Big ideas? Collaboration spaces have you covered. Just here for a catch-up? Our social hubs make it easy. Do work that counts, in spaces made for you.
Question: what’s curious, relentless, and customer obsessed?
If you’re keen to know the answer, you’re a third of the way to meeting our Dojo values.
If the following speak to you, let’s talk:
- You’re curious. You have a real desire to learn and create.
- You’re relentless. You keep going even when it’s easier not to.
- You’re customer-obsessed. You know how important customers are to what you do.
