Whether it's optimising key processes, managing relationships with strategic partners, launching innovative new products, or onboarding clients seamlessly, every project is an opportunity to drive efficiency and innovation at scale.

A bit about the role:

As Senior Finance Manager, you will provide leadership, oversight and direction across a range of accounting, reporting and operational activities that support Aviva Investors' Private Markets business. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality reporting to key stakeholders, including quarterly IFRS10 reporting, together with managing relationships with external service providers.  The role leads both onshore and offshore teams, driving continuous improvement, operational efficiency and service excellence. Working closely with colleagues across Aviva Investors and the wider Aviva Group, you will help develop scalable solutions, manage risk effectively and support strategic business priorities.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

  • Qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams, with a collaborative and inclusive leadership style.
  • Strong understanding of accounting, financial reporting and the asset management industry, specifically private market assets.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships to drive performance and influence effectively at all levels of an organisation – from c-suite down.
  • A proactive and analytical mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement, manage competing priorities and deliver results in a changing environment.

  • Competitive salary (depending on skills, experience, and qualifications).
  • Discretionary bonus opportunity, depending on individual performance and Aviva Investors' results.
  • Generous pension scheme, Aviva will contribute up to 14%, depending on what you put in.
  • 29 days holiday plus bank holidays, and you can choose to buy or sell up to 5 days.
  • Aviva-funded Private Medical Benefit to help you get expert support when you need it.
  • Make your money go further with up to 40% discount on Aviva products, and other retailer discounts.
  • Up to £1,200 of free Aviva shares per year through our Matching Share Plan and share in the success of Aviva with our Save As You Earn scheme.
  • Brilliantly supportive policies including parental and carer's leave.
  • Flexible benefits to suit you, including sustainability options such as cycle to work.
  • Make a difference, be part of our Aviva Communities and use your 3 annual volunteering days to help others.

We're inclusive and welcome everyone. We want applications from all backgrounds and experiences. Excited but not sure you tick every box? Even if you don't, we would still encourage you to apply. We also consider all forms of flexible working, including part-time and job shares.
