Senior Finance Manager, Risk Intelligence (FTC)
Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
Assists with any decision making that requires financial input, as part of the leadership team, for crucial areas of the business and of finance.
Drives and owns aspects of financial data and business performance, including Revenues / Sales, CapEx, OpEx, Headcount, and critical metrics for the business.
Understands and encapsulates a product-led approach and accompanying impact on our fully allocated P&L.
Uses underlying trends, business plans for the future and external market factors and to assist with the building of short-term forecasts (current financial year), budgets (next financial year) and 3-year plans.
Maintains and develops working relationships all across the organisation, beyond finance and the business.
Leads finance support of projects ensuring that they are delivered on time and budget in line with accounting controls.
Challenges and makes recommendations with respect to performance against budget, budget setting and financial viability of divisional initiatives.
Provides financial advice and judgement to business management teams!
Qualifications & Experience:
Degree or equivalent experience and/or relevant professional qualification
Extensive experience across all areas of finance
Significant experience in a finance partnering role.
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen in Risk Intelligence Finance, reporting to Head of Finance, Risk Intelligence!
Risk Intelligence is one of the fastest growing divisions at LSEG built on a heritage of trust providing a suite of solutions to help delight our customers to reduce fraud, avoid reputational damage and ensuring regulatory compliance.
This role requires a dedicated and expert finance business partner who can support leaders across our Digital Identity & Fraud (DI&F) businesses to accelerate growth within the division.
Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
Partner the business to drive strategic decision making particularly in relation to our LSEG Identity Verification and Account Verification businesses.
Understand key external drivers and competitive landscape to drive commercial decision making, in service of delivering the strategy of the division.
Drive financial reporting, planning and forecasting for the DI&F business including investment cases, capital allocation, product led P&L and profitability analysis.
Assess strategic scenarios and model various initiatives, including scenario and sensitivity analysis to support data driven decision making.
Partner with sales team on commercial policy and commissions approach to drive value for the Risk Intelligence division.
Actively support new product launch initiatives with DI&F Market Planning through conceptualisation, product development, capital management, commercial approach & revenue / performance tracking.
Implement product line QBRs and Sales Interlock MBR updates with leadership ensuring key risks, issues and opportunities are highlighted, with a focus on key value drivers.
Maintain and develop strong working relationships across the organisation beyond finance and the business, specifically partnering with FP&A, IR and Strategy teams to deliver outstanding analysis and processes.
Partner with Financial Control to deliver robust results and drive internal control frameworks.
Drive the transformation of finance demanding outstanding solutions and challenging the status quo.
Support M&A activities, including but not limited to owning financial modelling, sizing synergies. Work closely with the Strategy team for valuation and target tracking.
Qualifications & Experience
Demonstrate experience of partnering and influencing senior business partners across a globally matrix environment
Experience in holding leadership to account to drive outcomes.
A high level of interpersonal skills and an ability to function effectively in a distributed team that coordinates, works, and reports out of different geographies.
Commercially minded, with experience in implementing commercial/pricing strategies.
Demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and project management abilities.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Degree qualified and accounting certification (CPA, CA etc.) and / or MBA or equivalent experience.
