Partner with senior leadership to drive performance and strategic decision-making. Own FP&A activities (budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning), develop insightful commercial reporting, challenge stakeholders constructively, and lead improvements in finance processes and tools to support growth.
We’re looking for a commercially minded Senior Finance Business Partner to join our growing finance team in London. This is a high-impact role, working closely with senior leadership to drive performance, support strategic decision-making, and ensure the business continues to scale in a sustainable and efficient way.
You’ll act as a true partner to the business – providing insight, challenge, and guidance rather than just reporting – and play a key role in shaping financial direction across a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
About the role
This is a highly visible role where you’ll work closely with leadership across underwriting, distribution, and central functions, helping them understand performance, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions.
You’ll take ownership of financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning, ensuring outputs are accurate, meaningful, and clearly communicated. Alongside this, you’ll develop robust reporting that goes beyond numbers to tell a clear commercial story – highlighting risks, opportunities, and trends.
A core part of the role is partnering with stakeholders – building strong relationships, challenging constructively, and providing real insight to support growth and profitability. You’ll also play a key role in driving continuous improvement across finance processes, tools, and reporting, helping the team scale as the business continues to grow.
This is an opportunity to step into a true business-facing role where you can influence decisions and have a tangible impact.
About you
You’re a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with strong experience in a business partnering or FP&A environment within insurance or a similar regulated, complex environment. You’re comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving business and enjoy working closely with stakeholders.
You’re naturally commercial in your thinking – able to connect financials to business performance and translate data into clear, actionable insight. You’re confident communicating with senior stakeholders, and you’re comfortable challenging where needed in a constructive and collaborative way.
You’re detail-oriented but able to see the bigger picture, and you take pride in producing high-quality, accurate work. You’re also proactive in identifying opportunities to improve processes and add value beyond your core responsibilities.
