The Expert ICS Digital Enablement plays a key role in advancing the digital maturity and automation agenda of the Global ICS organization. This position is responsible for identifying manual workarounds and inefficient, manually-driven processes across all Global ICS pillars (Governance, Strategy & Transformation, Operational Excellence, Global Business Process Testing, and Global IT Strategy & Testing) and translating them into actionable automation opportunities. The role acts as the primary interface and sparring partner between the Global ICS function and the Automation team, ensuring business requirements are clearly understood and correctly reflected in the design and development of automation solutions for highly manual, repetitive processes. The role further supports the enhancement of automation within the Workiva platform and serves as the interface between Workiva and Global ICS to build and maintain connectors between Workiva and other enterprise systems (e.g. SAP S4HANA, Workday, Anaplan). In addition, the role supports regular ICS Operations activities, as needed.

Main Tasks:

  • Identify manual workarounds and manually-intensive processes across all Global ICS pillars (GST, Operational Excellence, Global Business Process Testing, Global IT Strategy & Testing) and assess their automation potential.
  • Act as the primary interface and sparring partner between the Global ICS function and the Automation team, gathering, structuring and translating business requirements into clear specifications to support the development of automation solutions for strongly manual-driven processes.
  • Support the enhancement of automation within the Workiva platform, identifying opportunities to streamline and digitize ICS processes and controls in Workiva.
  • Act as the interface between Workiva and Global ICS to design, build and maintain connectors/integrations between Workiva and other enterprise systems (e.g. SAP S4HANA, Workday, Anaplan, etc.).
  • Maintain and prioritize a backlog of automation opportunities across ICS in collaboration with GST leadership; track status, benefits realized and efficiency gains of automation initiatives.
  • Document current-state manual processes, target-state automated workflows, and business requirements to support automation development and testing.
  • Bundle expertise on SAP reports (e.g. T-Codes) relevant to ICS and automation initiatives and support the Operational Excellence team with business control-relevant alignments with Global Process Owners, where needed.
  • Partner with IT, OpEx and other Global ICS pillars to validate automation solutions prior to deployment and support user acceptance testing.
  • Support regular ICS Operations activities (e.g. GRC/Workiva tool maintenance, lifecycle activities, reporting) where needed.
