Hearst UK operates an in office policy with flexible Friday's. Our office is based at House of Hearst, 30 Panton Street, St James's, London, SW1Y 4AJ, where teams collaborate in person and connect across brands and functions.

Salary -  Circa £55,000 - Salary is dependent on experience and will be assessed in line with the candidate’s skills, knowledge, and relevant expertise.

The Role…

 

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of Hearst UK’s events portfolio. As our Senior Events Marketing Manager (5 Month FTC) you’ll be the driving force behind bold, innovative marketing campaigns that bring our events to life - from Cosmopolitan experiences to Harper’s Bazaar showcases and beyond.

 

Sitting within our Customer Team, you’ll collaborate with brilliant colleagues across Events, Editorial, and Commercial to craft strategies that don’t just drive attendance but create unforgettable moments of connection between our iconic brands and their audiences.

You’ll combine creativity and commercial savvy to deliver integrated, multi-channel campaigns that capture attention, spark excitement, and build long-term audience loyalty. This role is perfect for a passionate marketer who thrives on making an impact, leading from the front, and turning big ideas into even bigger results.

 

Main Duties…

 

Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and deliver integrated marketing strategies for Hearst UK’s event portfolio.

  • Define target audiences, positioning, and messaging to maximise reach and engagement.

  • Manage marketing budgets and report on ROI.

 

Campaign Management

  • Execute multi-channel marketing campaigns including email, social, digital advertising, partnerships and design.

  • Create engaging copy and marketing assets aligned with brand voice and event objectives.

  • Manage timelines, agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.

 

Audience Growth & Engagement

  • Use data-driven insights to grow event audiences and nurture long-term brand loyalty.

  • Oversee CRM and segmentation strategies to drive ticket sales and registrations.

  • Monitor campaign performance and optimise in real time.

 

Collaboration & Partnerships

  • Work closely with editorial, design, and commercial teams to align messaging and branding.

  • Build relationships with external partners, sponsors, and influencers to amplify reach.

  • Support commercial teams with marketing collateral for sponsor activations.

 

Measurement & Reporting

  • Track KPIs across campaigns including registration, attendance, engagement, and conversion rates.

  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership.

  • Continuously test, learn, and improve campaign effectiveness.

 

 

What We Are Looking For...

 

 

  • Proven experience in marketing, ideally within events, media, or publishing.

  • Strong campaign management and digital marketing skills (social, email, paid media).

  • Excellent copywriting and creative briefing skills.

  • Strong project management, with the ability to juggle multiple events and deadlines.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Passion for events, media, and audience engagement.

  • Attention to detail is a must.
