Position Overview: Showpad is seeking a strategic and experienced Sr. Events Manager to lead the development, management, and optimization of our event programs—including tradeshows, webinars, conferences, and regional field events. This role is crucial in driving pipeline, enhancing customer engagement, and delivering high-impact experiences that resonate with our audiences. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and hands-on expert who excels in event strategy and management, delivering events within budget while continuously refining strategies based on performance insights and Sales feedback.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Event Strategy & Pipeline Development:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive events strategy aimed at driving pipeline growth and enhancing customer engagement, with a balanced mix of industry tradeshows, customer conferences, webinars, and regional field events.
    • Identify, research, and recommend event opportunities that align with Showpad’s business goals, ensuring each event is strategically focused on driving qualified pipeline and fostering stronger customer relationships.
    • Collaborate with sales, marketing leadership, and account teams to establish event objectives, messaging, KPIs, and success metrics to support overall revenue and engagement targets.
  • Field Event & Sales Collaboration:
    • Partner closely with Account Executives and Account Managers to identify and implement field event opportunities that engage high-value customers and prospects in key regions.
    • Collaborate with Sales to tailor event formats, messaging, and timing, gathering and integrating Sales feedback to ensure field events drive targeted engagement and support strategic account goals.
  • Budget Forecasting & Financial Management:
    • Oversee event budget forecasting, management, and allocation across the annual event calendar, ensuring all events are executed within budget and aligned with financial objectives.
    • Track and report on actual spend versus budget for each event, making adjustments as needed to optimize costs while maintaining event quality.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities, negotiate with vendors, and manage contracts to maximize the return on event investments.
  • Event Execution & Continuous Optimization:
    • Lead all aspects of event logistics, including vendor coordination, budget management, registration, attendee engagement, and on-site or virtual execution.
    • Supervise external vendors and work with internal teams to ensure that all event components adhere to Showpad’s brand standards and effectively communicate our value proposition.
    • Conduct post-event analyses to assess event performance, incorporating insights to optimize future event formats and operational efficiencies.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration & Feedback Integration:
    • Work closely with demand generation, product marketing, customer success, and creative teams to produce impactful event content and materials that drive engagement.
    • Solicit regular feedback from Sales teams to refine events and adjust strategies in response to real-time market needs, ensuring events are aligned with pipeline development goals.
  • Webinar Management:
    • Streamline the planning and execution of Showpad’s webinar series, ensuring each session is engaging, well-coordinated, and effective in supporting pipeline and engagement targets.
    • Incorporate best practices for virtual engagement and continuously enhance webinar formats for maximum audience retention and participation.
  • Performance Measurement & Strategic Adjustments:
    • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for events, focusing on pipeline impact and customer engagement.
    • Leverage learnings from each event to adjust and refine event formats, vendor partnerships, and cross-functional collaboration processes, driving continuous improvement.
    • Provide regular insights and reporting to stakeholders, using data to inform future event planning and optimize Showpad’s event investments.


Key Requirements: 

  • 6-8 years of experience in event strategy, planning, and execution, B2B SaaS or technology industries preferred, with a proven ability to drive pipeline and engagement.
  • Demonstrated expertise in event budget forecasting and financial management; able to deliver high-quality events within budget constraints.
  • Proficiency in event management platforms and CRM software (Salesforce preferred).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build cross-functional relationships and gather actionable feedback from Sales teams.
  • A data-driven approach to measuring success, optimizing strategies, and refining event formats and execution over time
