Your Role:

The Senior Engineer is a pragmatic, delivery-focused developer with experience applying AI/ML techniques. They will join a squad responsible for designing and developing comprehensive solutions that advance business capabilities in Investments and Investment Risk. Partnering with colleagues (e.g. Risk, Research, Cloud Teams, tech departments) to understand technical requirements, design and develop solutions that align with enterprise standards and Investments strategy.
You will help us bring intelligence and automation onto our Investments platform, working on analytics workflows, data quality detection and early-stage AI agent capabilities. If you enjoy helping the team on their AI journey, experimenting with new approaches and tools to make complex risk processes simpler and more robust, this role is for you
You will be joining the Investments Data, Risk and Performance technology team in the Investments technology department. This role is with the Risk squad that is responsible for managing several financial risk applications and their respective processes to produce daily risk results to our stakeholders. What you will be doing:

  • Design and develop AI agents, systems and workflows for investments and risk use cases

  • Helping identify opportunities for AI/ML across the platform

  • Development of process and code required to support Investments capabilities.

  • Leverage Gen-AI and machine learning to generate insights and automate key tasks.

  • Select appropriate AI/ML models, manage training and context data, evaluate accuracy, and fine tune performance

  • Develop robust evaluation frameworks and observability tooling to ensure accurate and consistent results throughout the model lifecycle

  • Support the data flow and infrastructure for effective AI deployment

  • Supporting upskilling of development team in AI

  • Engaging with technical members from other teams to collaborate on designs and specifications for multi-functional technical solutions

What you will bring:

  • Proven exposure to AI/ML

  • Proven years-experience engineering, implementing and supporting enterprise solutions

  • Experience working in an agile environment an advantage Knowledge

  • Knowledge of Python and SQL

  • Knowledge of Snowflake an advantage

  • Knowledge of AWS services beneficial Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience). Other Personal Attributes

  • Effective communication skills, able to collaborate well with cross‑functional teams.

  • Adaptable and proactive, with a continuous‑learning mindset in a fast‑paced environment.
