Lead a global IT risk and controls team to define, implement, monitor, and report information technology risk frameworks. Assess controls, analyze risks, recommend mitigations, and present metrics and reports to senior management while developing and managing staff.
We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Director, Technology Control Management Manager. This role is located in London.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Lead a global team of Risk professionals directly and indirectly to achieve departmental global goals and objectives.
- Use in-depth knowledge of information technology, risk and control frameworks, risk and control theory and practice, and controls implementation and assessment to determine potential risks to the organization.
- Manage analysis and draw conclusions to recommend and direct changes needed to mitigate risk.
- Oversee the strategy and development of the risk framework, including identifying, analyzing, monitoring, reporting, and minimizing information technology risks.
- Review TRC related reports produced by the management team for accuracy and legibility, and determine appropriate information, metrics, and reporting for senior management.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
- Extensive related work experience, including experience in team management preferred.
- CISA, CISSP or CRISC and ISACA certifications preferred.
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical discussions, business-oriented presentations, and interaction with senior management.
- People Leadership requirement: Recruit, direct, motivate, and develop staff, maximizing individual contribution, professional growth, and team effectiveness.
