The Role

Reporting to the Project Director, you will be managing some of our most exciting client accounts. You will have responsibility for working with the agency designers, developers, strategists, and client services team to ensure that projects are delivered on time and on budget, to the highest quality.

Ideally, you will have a strong background of project delivery and should be confident in project managing complex web and app builds, utilising both waterfall and agile methodologies.

Day to day you will create, maintain and track project plans, schedules and risk/issue logs throughout the life of the project.
Specific responsibilities include:

  • Leading project coordination across a multitude of global client accounts
  • Liaising with clients at a senior level on a day-to-day basis 
  • Driving project activities to ensure project success following an Agile Process, ensuring it is implemented and followed
  • Completing projects to a specific schedule and within an agreed budget
  • Managing the project team across different geographical locations
  • Making appropriate and necessary decisions on the project relating to administration, scope and control
  • Review risk/issue logs with project team - taking ownership of solutions
  • Advise on Project Management Standards, processes and procedures - challenging any that become a constraint
  • Proficiency in using a project management and bug tracking system i.e. Jira
  • Ensuring that project issues, conflicts and disagreements are identified and quickly resolved
  • Supporting the Project Team in all quality related activities

Your Skills 

  • Expertise in managing professional client relationships
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as proficient knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices, and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of web and mobile technologies (what is possible vs. limitations) with the ability to run projects independently including website builds, system architecture and mobile applications
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Effective team management capabilities
  • A keen attention to detail and budgetary restraints
  • Willing to take ownership of solutions and confident in resolving all project issues
  • Good understanding and knowledge of bug tracking tool, Jira
  • Ability to work comfortably in a fast paced, busy agency environment
  • A strong presenter and communicator who is comfortable leading from the front with clients and internal teams
