    Job Description

    Forming part of the group digital analytics function, reporting into the group head of digital analytics. You will work closely with the marketing team and wider digital functions, owning the analysis and measurement of the effectiveness of our marketing activations and to drive better decision making across our digital marketing channels.

    • Be the owner of the measurement of our digital marketing capabilities through analysis and experimentation.
    • Leverage several data sources, like Google Analytics, transactional / customer databases, and data from our advertising platforms to bring together concise analysis for our marketing teams.
    • Scrutinising large datasets with visualisations tools (e.g. PowerBI / Looker) and presenting the outputs to senior management and wider digital teams. 
    • Create a framework of periodic analysis and reporting, communicating our marketing performance coherently.
    • Measure the effectiveness of our marketing strategies with support from the experimentation team through causal inference methodologies.
    • Work closely with data engineering to prioritise a roadmap of data models to satisfy our marketing analytics needs.
    • Develop strong relationships with the wider digital analytics function, data engineering, commercial analytics to ensure we have continuity in definitions and data governance.

    Qualifications

    • Proficiency with SQL (required) and R/Python (nice to have).
    • Strong visualisation skills (e.g., PowerBI, Looker, Tableau etc.).
    • Extensive experience working in a digital marketing analytics position ideally within an ecommerce / retail business.
    • Good understanding of digital marketing analytics core concepts (e.g. ROAS, CAC, acquisition, impressions) and where and how these metrics should be utilised.
    • Expert communicator, with the ability to flex their presentation style based on the audience.
    • A passion for data with natural curiosity for uncovering informative insight.
    • Keen interest in the future of customer / marketing analytics, including customer data platforms, lifetime value, MMM, attribution and the evolution of advertising platform capabilities.
    • Understanding of how to measure the effectiveness of marketing strategy through incrementality.
    • Ability to work autonomously, building strong working relationships with key stakeholders across marketing, trading and other digital functions.

If successful we anticipate two further interview stages with the Hiring Manager/wider team which will be more technically focussed and could include a presentation/task so we can see your skills in action.
