About the role

The design team is central to the creative development and production of our flagship publication, Monocle, and our sister magazine, Konfekt. It’s also key to the delivery of material for our global events, shops and cafés, as well as our commercial clients.

The role is varied and involves producing and delivering a range of creative outputs. It would suit a confident designer with a strong eye, editorial expertise and the ability to work effectively alongside stakeholders. The team works to tight deadlines with a keen focus on quality.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • An exceptional creative eye with proven experience of editorial, layout and design work for print.
  • Expert use of the relevant tools and software.
  • An ability to adopt the Monocle style and share ideas for innovation.
  • Adaptability and experience of working across a range of unique internal or partner projects.
  • An aspiration to be part of a dedicated team that is proud of the exceptional quality of the work that it creates.

We value collaboration and interaction with our colleagues and clients. We work on unique, global projects alongside our talented international team. This role is based in our Marylebone office and we offer the following benefits:

  • Discounts at The Monocle Shop and The Monocle Café.
  • Breakfast provided five days a week.
  • Health- and life-insurance benefits.
  • 23 days’ annual leave, a seven-day Christmas shutdown and eight bank holidays.
  • A dog-friendly office.

Our team is ambitious, talented, professional and committed to excellence in everything that it does. Alongside your CV, please include access to your portfolio. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
