Make Your Mark as an Demand Planner at Storio groupAbout the role

Storio Group produces millions of personalised photo products every year across brands like Photobox, Hofmann, and Albelli. Our supply chain is highly seasonal, and demand planning is how we stay ahead of it. We turn sales data and commercial insight into the forecasts that drive production and inventory decisions across Europe.

As Demand Planner, you will be a core Subject Matter Expert in our rapid S&OP development. Reporting to the Head of Demand Planning, you will bridge top-line commercial forecasts with item-level operational reality. You will validate B2C category forecasts, own item planning, establish B2B forecasting, and improve forecast phasing across our peak cycles. This is a high-impact role where you will build quality into our demand process and support operational readiness.

How you embrace curiosity daily

  • Validate and check Commercial & Marketing's monthly, weekly, and daily category top-line forecasts against run rates, plans, and customer strategies
  • Challenge forecast assumptions constructively across key markets and products when inputs diverge from historical trends or operational reality

  • Own the detailed item planning process, splitting category forecasts into granular sub-category and item variant forecasts across Sales, Volume and ASP, providing item sales mix and margin visibility, and Operations with accurate production requirements

  • Drive continuous improvement in weekly and daily forecast phasing, reviewing and validating sales forecasts against promotional mechanics, seasonal uplift spikes, and Last Order Dates for key gifting events

  • Build pragmatic models and tools that help forecast owners submit higher-quality phasing inputs

  • Take end-to-end ownership of forecasting for B2B vendors, integrating these streams into the central S&OP process

How you make your mark

In this role, you will deliver real impact across our supply chain and business objectives

  • Support robust commercial consensus by bringing planning expertise to cross-functional partners

  • Validate and check promotional phasing directly to Last Order Dates to improve peak season operational readiness

  • Provide volume and margin visibility through accurate, granular item forecasts aligned to category forecasts from Commercial & Marketing

  • Close unforecasted blind spots by building baseline forecasts for B2B channels

  • Prepare variance analysis and scenario reporting packs for monthly demand review meetings

  • Partner with Supply Planning so item-level forecast changes translate smoothly into capacity planning

  • Identify opportunities to refine planning spreadsheets and models to remove manual friction and improve data integrity

What you bring to the team

  • Three to five years of dedicated Demand Planning experience in a fast-paced environment like FMCG, Retail, or E-Commerce

  • Proven track record of managing item-level planning, mix modeling, and promotional uplift analysis

  • Hands-on experience challenging commercial and marketing teams on forecast assumptions using clear data

  • Advanced MS Excel or Google Sheets data modeling skills with complex multi-category and multi-country datasets

  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to manage defined processes independently

  • Practical problem-solving approach that favors workable tools over complex theoretical models

What sets you apart

  • Career experience with exposure to adjacent functions like Supply Planning, Merchandising, Marketing, or Finance

  • Background in seasonal, high-volume direct-to-consumer or multi-market businesses, along with experience using Demand Planning systems

  • Relevant formal education or degree in business, supply chain, or a related analytical field

You will have a clear scope, a supportive manager, and real opportunity to grow your expertise within a business that takes supply chain seriously.
