Own and optimize the demand generation engine for new agency acquisition and expansion of existing customers. Manage paid channels, partner demand, measurement, conversion optimization, marketing stack builds, and sales alignment to deliver SQLs and pipeline.

Alto Software Group is a B2B SaaS company that powers more than half of all UK housing transactions each year. We create software solutions that connect businesses and consumers, delivering a one-stop shop for estate agents and home builders. Our goal is to drive efficiency, speed up transactions, reduce risk, and improve the end-customer experience.

While we're not a startup, we operate with a startup mindset. We're looking for people who share this mentality and are ready to tackle big ambitions. This is a fast-growing and exciting business going through significant change, and there's never been a better time to join us.

We're looking for a demand generation manager who thinks in systems, not channels.

You'll own how we generate demand from two directions: winning new agencies, and growing what our existing ones use. It's a commercial role with real autonomy — you'll be hands-on in the accounts and in the data, close to sales, and you'll decide where the budget goes and be accountable for what it returns.

Marketing owns the pipeline number together. You own the machine that produces most of it.

What you'll own

The demand engine. SQL delivery and marketing-sourced pipeline, and the demand gen budget behind it. MQL volume is an input you manage, not the target you're judged on — we care about what converts.

Partner demand. Growing adoption of our partner and Marketplace products across our existing customer base, measured on attach rate. You'll build the commercial case, the targeting and the offer; delivery into the base runs with our customer marketing team. This is a part of the job you get done through people who don't report to you.

The channels. Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and paid social, hands-on. Plus identifying, testing and scaling new sources of demand — and being honest with us about the ones that don't work and why.

Measurement. Analytics, tagging, attribution and our intent tooling. Our measurement works, but it's young, and a lot of it was built at speed. Making the numbers something the business can make decisions on is a real part of this role, not housekeeping.

Conversion. Website conversion optimisation, working with our web agency, and analytics governance.

The systems behind it. Our marketing stack and reporting. You'll have access to engineering resource for build work — you'll make the case for what marketing gets built and when, specify it clearly, and own it once it's live.

Sales alignment. Lead definitions, SLAs, and a feedback loop that actually changes what marketing does based on feedback from the selling teams.

Who you are
  • You've personally owned an SQL or pipeline target, and a budget you made real decisions with
  • You're properly hands-on in Google Ads and GA4, with working knowledge of Salesforce and HubSpot
  • You know where B2B funnels break, and how to tell a volume problem from a quality problem
  • You can define clearly what you need built, work with technical colleagues to get it built, and judge whether what comes back is right
  • You've marketed to an existing customer base as well as a cold one, and you know the difference — sequencing, frequency, and not burning goodwill for a short-term number
  • You've delivered results through people who don't report to you
  • SaaS selling to SMB or mid-market. Property experience is welcome but not required
