The RoleOur Business Analytics team is growing! We’re looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our team in London.
In this role you will own the models that drive our forecasting and strategy, from the data infrastructure behind them to the experiments that prove them out, turning statistical and machine learning work into reporting the business actually acts on.
Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the infrastructure and outcomes of our models, building algorithms and pipelines to merge, manage and interrogate data for tailored reporting
Design and run experiments to test hypotheses and sharpen how we forecast
Select, build and evaluate the most appropriate statistical and machine learning models for each problem
Turn model output into clear, decision-ready reporting that shows how customers and clients interact with our business
Raise the modelling bar across the analytics team, challenging and working alongside AI rather than deferring to it
Several years building and shipping statistical and machine learning models in production, ideally in a commercial or performance-driven setting
Fluent in Python and SQL, and comfortable owning model infrastructure end to end
Strong on experiment design and model selection, and honest about how to evaluate what actually works
Able to translate complex modelling into clear reporting that non-technical stakeholders can act on
You challenge AI rather than lean on it, using it to move faster without losing rigour
You thrive when working as part of a team
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Have excellent written and verbal English skills
Last but not least, you’ll have no ego!
