Job Summary
Optimum seeks a Senior Data Engineer to execute custom data analytics projects.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain data quality scripts and applications. Build automated workflows to validate data sets within relational databases, data warehouses, and text files. Support migration of large data sets from legacy platforms to new strategic technology platforms, including public cloud environments. Triage and repair data quality processing issues. Prepare information and data sets for translation into client-facing materials. Ensure access to key databases for business intelligence tools. #LI-DNI
Qualifications
Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, and 3 years of experience with performing data analysis in relational databases, data warehouses, and text files. Experience must include at minimum: 3 years of experience with executing application development utilizing relational databases with external and internal large database environments; 3 years of experience with SQL queries; 3 years of experience with importing and exporting data to and from database systems; 3 years of experience with producing ad-hoc reports for user and business reports; and 3 years of experience with troubleshooting complex requests and devising solutions. Part-time telecommuting permitted.
