ABOUT OUR ROLE
Are you passionate about turning data into actionable insights that drive real-world impact? Kuunda is seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of our products and operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Translate raw and processed data into clear, compelling insights that guide product decisions and strategic improvements.
- Deep dive into complex datasets and business problems, identifying root causes and solving them independently.
- Work closely with the day-to-day functioning of the business to understand downstream impacts and ensure insights are practical and implementable.
- Drive end-user actions through data – not just analysis, but real-world outcomes.
- Collaborate with product and operational teams to deliver data stories they can understand and act on.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools to support ongoing performance tracking.
Quality Assurance Responsibilities:
- Ensure a high level of accuracy, consistency, and reliability in all data outputs.
- Validate data sources, logic, and results to maintain trust and integrity across teams.
- Implement checks and processes to catch anomalies and prevent errors before insights are shared.
- Maintain documentation and audit trails for key analyses and reports.
What We’re Looking For:
- A career analyst with a strong background in data analysis and business impact—not a data scientist.
- Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in fintech or product-led environments.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one BI tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
- Exceptional storytelling skills – you can turn numbers into narratives that influence decisions.
- Ability to work autonomously and communicate insights in a clear, business-friendly language.
- A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and accuracy.
- Previous experience in credit decisioning and credit risk is highly advantageous.
