What You’ll do


Your key accountabilities will include


  • Develop and deliver analytical solutions that support the Property insight strategy and help inform the Estate Rotation and Modernisation plan. 

  • Translate senior stakeholder requirements into a clear pipeline of analysis, modelling, MI and controls reporting activity. 

  • Build practical, interpretable descriptive and predictive models that help answer complex Property and Location Planning questions. 

  • Create compelling narratives from robust analysis, moving confidently from the detail of the “what” to the commercial “so what”. 

  • Provide guidance and analytical support to Data Analyst and Data Manager colleagues, while sharing knowledge and best practice across M&S.

 

Who you are

 

Your skills and experience will include


  • You have at least two years’ practical experience in an advanced analytical role, with a track record of solving business problems through analysis and innovative thinking.

  • You are highly numerate and technically confident, with experience in SQL, complex data mining, dataset modelling and at least one programming language such as Python, R or Java.

  • You can turn complex analysis into clear stories and visual outputs using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire or advanced Excel. 

  • You build trusted stakeholder relationships through open communication, ownership and accountability, and are comfortable presenting to senior audiences. 

  • You are curious, methodical and creative in improving ways of working; experience in spatial analytics, location planning, retail, consulting or business analysis would be an advantage.
