Meet the team!

This role is embedded within either the B2B or Customer Care domain and is part of Preply’s Data Chapter. You will work closely with directors, operations leaders, and cross-functional partners across finance and product teams, while collaborating with data analysts, data scientists, and analytics engineers to strengthen analytical foundations and business impact.

What you’ll be doing:
  • You will partner with senior stakeholders in Business and Operations teams to proactively identify where new analyses, metrics, or frameworks can unlock improvements in retention, revenue, and operational efficiency.

  • Lead high-complexity, end-to-end analytical initiatives, from ambiguous problem framing to business impact, uncovering root causes and hidden drivers behind key performance metrics such as revenue retention, LTV, churn, utilization, operational metrics, and cost efficiency

  • Design and validate KPI frameworks to ensure consistency, reliability, and cross-team alignment; clarify trade-offs in definitions and measurement logic across Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Product

  • Design executive-ready storytelling and structured presentations that align stakeholders around shared goals, timelines, and trade-offs

  • Embed analytics into daily workflows by partnering with business and operational leaders to integrate dashboards, forecasting, and reporting into decision-making processes

  • Translate insights into strategic decisions, clearly articulating what was observed, why it matters, opportunity cost, and what action should follow, influencing roadmap, prioritisation, and resource allocation

What you need to succeed:
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics roles (Business, Product, Growth, B2B, or Operations), with demonstrated ownership of KPI frameworks and measurable impact on retention, revenue, or efficiency

  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to connect analytical insights to financial impact, opportunity cost, and roadmap prioritisation.

  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to independently build and optimise complex queries

  • Deep understanding of retention and performance metrics (e.g.revenue retention, LTV, churn, utilization, operational metrics, and cost efficiency) and the ability to validate KPI definitions and reporting logic across teams

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional analytical projects end-to-end

  • Experience influencing Senior stakeholders, acting as a thought partner to Business, Operations, Finance, Marketing, or Product; comfortable clarifying trade-offs in metrics, accuracy, speed, and resource allocation

  • Structured, rigorous analytical thinking with high attention to detail

  • Experience improving metric definitions or analytical data models

Nice to have:
  • Experience in marketplace, subscription, or SaaS businesses

  • Exposure to B2B revenue models or customer support operations

  • Hands-on experience with Looker and Snowflake (experience with BI and SQL databases a must)

Why you’ll love it at Preply:
  • An open, collaborative, dynamic and diverse culture;

  • A generous monthly allowance for lessons on Preply.com, Learning & Development budget and time off for your self-development;
