Why work at Nebius
Nebius is leading a new era in cloud computing to serve the global AI economy. We create the tools and resources our customers need to solve real-world challenges and transform industries, without massive infrastructure costs or the need to build large in-house AI/ML teams. Our employees work at the cutting edge of AI cloud infrastructure alongside some of the most experienced and innovative leaders and engineers in the field.

Where we work
Headquartered in Amsterdam and listed on Nasdaq, Nebius has a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, North America, and Israel. The team of over 1400 employees includes more than 400 highly skilled engineers with deep expertise across hardware and software engineering, as well as an in-house AI R&D team.

The role

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to become the first analytics hire in Capacity Management and build a data-driven foundation for how we plan and operate infrastructure.

Today, many critical decisions rely on expert judgment. Your mission is to change that - by introducing clear metrics, reliable observability, and forward-looking models that guide decisions across engineering, product, and business.

You will work directly with the Head of Capacity Management and operate with high autonomy across the entire capacity domain.

What you will do

Build observability into capacity

  • Define and own key metrics for availability, utilization, and capacity health

  • Build dashboards that reflect the real state of the system, not a simplified view

  • Replace manual and fragmented reporting with reliable, scalable data products

Own forecasting and demand modeling

  • Develop rolling forecasts across regions, clusters, and products

  • Identify early signals of shortages and imbalances

  • Turn uncertainty into quantified scenarios

Drive decision-making

  • Support decisions on data center expansion, resource allocation, and product constraints

  • Model trade-offs (e.g. resource ratios, allocation strategies, demand shifts)

  • Bring clarity and structure to ambiguous, high-impact problems

Scope & impact
  • Operate across ~a dozen regions, multiple clusters, and tens of thousands of GPUs

  • Influence decisions on infrastructure scaling, product allocation models, and business priorities

  • Become a key partner to engineering, product, and business teams

We expect you to have:
  • Proven Experience: 5+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or related fields, ideally in high-scale or infrastructure-driven environments

  • Strong ownership: ability to independently drive problems from framing through analysis to actionable recommendations

  • Technical proficiency: solid SQL and Python for data analysis, modeling, and working with large datasets

  • Data product experience: hands-on experience building dashboards and data products (Grafana, DataLens, or similar BI tools)

  • Operational mindset: ability to work effectively in evolving, imperfect data environments with incomplete information

  • Decision-making under ambiguity: comfort operating in high-speed environments with shifting priorities and unclear inputs

It will be an added bonus if you have:

  • Experience in infrastructure, cloud, or capacity-related domains

  • Background in forecasting, time series analysis, or demand planning

  • Understanding of statistical methods and practical judgment on when to apply them

  • Experience in high-growth or startup environments

  • Proficiency in Russian is a plus

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
  • Opportunities for professional growth within Nebius.
  • Flexible working arrangements.
  • A dynamic and collaborative work environment that values initiative and innovation.

We’re growing and expanding our products every day. If you’re up to the challenge and are excited about AI and ML as much as we are, join us!
