We are looking for a Creative Strategist to join Team Snapchat in China working on our top tier clients! Working from our Beijing or Shenzhen office, you’ll become a key player in driving the creative ambition of the business. As a Creative Strategist, the successful candidate will be a creative catalyst with the ability to unlock revenue through ideas. Day-to-day, you’ll work with the Snapchat Sales team, key brand partners, and their agencies to create and implement best-in-class creative advertising campaigns on Snapchat.

What you’ll do:

  • With a focus on revenue-generation, develop ideas, strategies, and presentation materials to address client goals through Snapchat’s creative advertising solutions

  • Use data and creative analysis to develop evidence-based creative solutions for big brands based in China who wish to advertise around the world

  • Be the performance marketing creative expert, able to ideate results-driving campaigns for big brands 

  • Influence, educate and inspire clients to think differently about Snapchat through presentations and pitches

  • Communicate and build strong relationships with key senior decision makers across clients and agencies to understand their business goals

  • Work closely with sales teams to develop and implement long-term creative strategies against business objectives

  • Understand and apply your knowledge of content/video/creator advertising techniques and creative principles

  • Educate and enable our many key partners based in China

  • Discuss and provide feedback on aspects of campaign design

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help drive new, scalable client solutions

  • Represent Snapchat at key industry events

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, business management, or related area of study or equivalent years of experience

  • 3+ years of experience in creative strategy, marketing or a related field

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience leading the strategy for performance marketing campaigns

  • Track record of developing outstanding creative applied in digital mediums

  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills with attention to detail

  • Ability to command a room and succinctly articulate thought-leading advertising solutions 

  • Experience in managing and enabling advertising sales partners

  • Ability to perform well in highly dynamic, rapidly changing environments

  • Experience working in Google suite of products (Google Slides, Sheets, Docs, etc.), Adobe suite, and Keynote 

  • An understanding of emerging technologies and their application in creative advertising, Augmented Reality ads and Creator Ads knowledge is preferable 

  • Track record of background in e-commerce or short-drama industry is preferred
