DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role

As Senior CPQ/CRM Solution Architect – Salesforce Sales & Revenue Cloud, you will be responsible for the end-to-end solution design of EXN’s Salesforce Sales Cloud and Revenue Cloud CPQ implementation across the Lead to Order journey.

This is a senior solution leadership role within the Commercial Core team, ensuring the platform is business-aligned, scalable, secure and fit for future country rollout. You will provide design oversight during implementation, support key architecture decisions and help ensure the Salesforce CPQ/CRM platform remains sustainable across future releases.

This role will report to the Senior Director, CPQ & Salesforce Transformation.

As the Senior CPQ/CRM Solution Architect, you will:

• Own the end-to-end CPQ/CRM solution architecture for Salesforce Sales Cloud and Revenue Cloud CPQ, covering lead management, opportunity management, quoting, pricing, approvals and ERP order handoff.

• Design scalable solution patterns, data models, process flows and system interfaces across the Lead to Order journey.

• Lead solution design sessions and architecture reviews, providing guidance to the Product Owner, delivery partner and Salesforce delivery team across design, build and delivery.

• Work with Global Process Owners, Regional Transformation Leads and business SMEs to validate solution fit, promote fit-to-standard design and challenge unnecessary local variation.

• Shape the high-level integration and data approach between Salesforce CPQ/CRM and enterprise systems, including ERP, MDM/PIM and Workflow Ingestion.

• Establish and maintain solution governance, design standards and documentation, while providing oversight of delivery partner outputs to ensure alignment with business requirements, Salesforce best practice, scalability and maintainability.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you

The ideal CPQ/CRM Architect:

• Has 7+ years of Salesforce experience, including significant solution architecture, functional architecture or senior consulting experience across Sales Cloud and CPQ.

• Holds Salesforce CPQ Specialist, Sales Cloud Consultant, Application Architect or equivalent experience/certification.

• Has a proven track record designing enterprise-scale Salesforce CPQ/CRM solutions, ideally across multi-country and multi-currency environments.

• Has strong knowledge of Lead to Order processes, including pricing, discounting, approvals, quote generation, margin controls and ERP handoff.

• Understands data modelling, integration patterns and downstream ERP dependencies, with experience working alongside delivery partners, business stakeholders and enterprise architecture teams.

• Is a strategic, quality-focused and pragmatic solution leader who can balance long-term platform sustainability with practical delivery needs, while building consensus across technical and business teams.
